Vicki Lynn Dyson Mallory, age 61, died Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born in Odessa, March 13, 1947 to William Martin and Winnie Estelle (Clark) Dyson. She was a retired cashier and bookkeeper for the City of Odessa. She was Baptist.
She is survived by four sons: William Keith Mallory of Odessa, Ricky Dale Mallory of Hutto, TX, Marty Mallory of Crane, TX, and Chris Belknap of Odessa; three brothers: Kenneth Dyson of Houston, TX, and Jan Dyson and Sam Dyson, both of Odessa; three sisters: Gerry Shirley of Longview, TX and Judy Holt and Debbie Freeman, both of Odessa; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her sisters: Gwen and Helen; brothers: Bobby Jean, Donald Ray, and John Wayne; her mother: Winnie Frazier; and father: William Dyson.
Funeral services will be 4 pm Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Everett Leon Archer passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Medical Center Hospital of Odessa at the age of 77. He was born Friday, February 13, 1931 in Erath County, TX to George Emmett and Roby Lee (Peace) Archer. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married Doris Jean Christesson April 6, 1956 in Lovington, NM. They enjoyed over 52 happy years of marriage and raised three children.
He was a member of the McFarland Lodge # 1338 AF & AM of Odessa, Andy G. Vaughn Lodge # 1421 AF & AM of Odessa, and the Scottish Rite of Dallas. He was a pipeline welder from 1962 until his retirement in 1999 and was in the Pipeliners Union #798.
Everett leaves behind his loving wife: Doris Jean Archer of Odessa; one daughter: Tonya Harris of Roswell, GA; two sons: Keith Archer of Odessa and Tracy Archer of Killeen, TX; one brother: Kenneth Archer of Odessa; five grandchildren: Jessica, Robert, Kelsie, Tori Lee, and Manda; one great-grandchild: Willow Rayne; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: George Emmett Archer who passed away in 1974 and Roby Lee Archer who passed away in 2002. His brother, James Archer preceded him in death in 1989 and one sister: Carolyn Willis in 2004.
Family visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 pm Friday, May 30, 2008. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Acres West Funeral Chapel officiated by Bro. Dewey Blevins. Masonic graveside services will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors. Pallbearers will be Homer Hallum, Brandon Willis, Rick Harris, Mike Christesson Jr., John Christesson, and Robert Harris. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Vernon Lee Middaugh, age 83, died Monday, May 26, 2008 at Hospice House of Odessa. He was born to John Wesley Middaugh and Beulah Lenore (Marney) Middaugh in Shidler, Osage County, OK. He was self employed in landscaping, doing weed control. He was a WWII veteran who served in both the Air Force and the Army. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Odessa and Borger and the Borger VFW post.
He is survived by one son: Robert Middaugh of Odessa; two daughters: Teresa Hunt and Trina Bishop, both of Odessa; two brothers: Ellis Middaugh and Gene Middaugh, both of Tulsa, OK; one sister: Vera Johnston of St. Louis, MO; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife: Bonnie Jo (White) Middaugh, who passed away in 2003.
A graveside memorial service will be 10 am Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Payne Springs Cemetery in Mabank, TX. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
Trudy Wright, age 83, of Odessa, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Hospice House of Odessa. She was born November 21, 1924 in Paris, TX to Marion Daniel Wright and Norma Vista (Wren) Wright. She was a retired secretary for the Paris Music Company, where she had worked since she was 16. She attended the First Christian Church in Paris.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Johnny Daniel Morales II was carried back to Heaven on angel's wings Monday, May 26, 2008 at the age of 7 months. He was born in Fort Collins, CO October 13, 2007 to Johnny Daniel Morales, Sr. and Carey Ann Weaver.
He is survived by his parents: Johnny Daniel Morales, Sr. and Carey Ann Weaver of Odessa; maternal grandparents: Timothy and Marcia Weaver of Fort Collins, CO; paternal grandfather: Danny Morales of Odessa; and two sisters: Savannah Maria Alfaro and Kimberly Elisea Alfaro, both of Odessa.
Graveside services will be 10 am Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Western Roses Memorial Park Cemetery, 4100 N. FM 1788 in Midland County. Bro. Wayne Shelton will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Ryan Adam Moon of Odessa, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008 in Odessa. He was born September 11, 1981 in Dallas.
Survivors include his mother, Karen Harless and step-father, Ruben Medrano both of Odessa; father and step-mother, Michael and Cordelia Souther, both of Arlington, TX; brother, Jesse Boring of Odessa and sister, Brianna Jill Moon of Arlington, TX.

Marie Hagman, age 95, died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Seabury Nursing Home in Odessa. She was born May 5, 1913 in Braddock, ND to Stanley A. Jepson and Anna Marie (Worth) Jepson. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son David Paul Hagman, daughters-in-law: Kaye Hagman and Zuella Hagman, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Beth Elaine Fulfer passed from this life Monday, June 02, 2008 at Hospice House. She was born in Odessa, October 5, 1955 to Donald Wilbur Cantrell and Vesta Marie (Hite) Cantrell and was a lifetime Odessa resident. She worked as a grocery store cashier.
Although she was a regular at Pojo’s, she was a great cook. She enjoyed playing pool and going fishing when she was able. She was a faithful fan of “Days of Our Lives”. She was a good friend, a shoulder to cry on and someone you could lean on, always willing to help others. She was very stubborn – you did it her way, or no way at all. Her grandson was the light of her life. She loved to play with him.
Those left to cherish her love and memories include her son: Michael L. Couch of Dallas; two daughters: Tabitha Fulfer and Lisa Long and husband Chad, all of Odessa; two sisters: Elizabeth “Cissy” Poyner and husband Larry of Odessa and Patty Van Zandt and husband Dan of Oklahoma City, OK; three grandchildren: Ashlynn Couch of Dallas, TX, Brandon Long of Odessa and one on the way; nieces: Danielle & Crystal Van Zandt of Oklahoma City, OK and numerous nieces and nephews from the Poyner family.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Donald and Vesta Cantrell; her husband: Lester Fulfer (who passed away in August of 1993); two brothers: Donnie and Lonnie Cantrell; and one sister: Jennie Cantrell.

Paul Bjorn of Savannah, GA; six daughters: Barbara Dodson of Marfa, TX, Beverly Overcash of Jacksonville, FL, Tyree Bjorn of of Anniston, AL, Mickie Bjorn of Abilene, TX, Vickie Bjorn of Tifton, GA, and Rhonda Bjorn of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother: Clyde Massingill of Gering, NE; two sisters: Jewel Holland of Eden, NC and Darlene Harris of Ft. Worth, TX; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Crystal Kay Clary, age 26, of Odessa departed this life Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at her home in Odessa. She was born September 9, 1981 in Andrews, TX to George Luther Clary and Sharon Kay (Bond) Clary. She graduated from Permian High School in 2000 and went on to earn her associate’s degree in nursing from Odessa College. She was a registered nurse at Odessa Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Midcities Community Church.
She had grown and accomplished much in the face of many obstacles. She was a big-hearted person who cared about others. She was a wonderful daughter and sister, and a loving mother – a precious person who will be missed greatly by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Crystal is survived by her mother: Sharon Kay Clary of Odessa; grandparents: Jasper and Loretta Bond of Odessa; two sons: Ashton George Clary and Avery Justis Clary, both of Odessa; four brothers: Chad L. Clary and wife Kay of Midland, Jonathan W. Clary and wife Kirstie of Odessa, Mark Clary of Nacogdoches, TX, and Randy Clary and wife Teresa of Nacogdoches, TX; two sisters: Candace Clary Edwards and husband Chuck of Ft. Stockton and Gay Nell Clary of Coleman, TX.
She was preceded in death by her father: George L. Clary and her paternal grandparents: Dewey and Julia Clary.
