James Earl Canada, age 63, died
Saturday, December 12, 2009 at his Odessa residence. He was born
in Hobbs, NM on December 8, 1946 to James Edward Canada and Triona
Mae (Teague) Canada. He was an oilfield worker.
He is survived by his aunt:
Bobbie Jenkins of Odessa.
Memorial services will be held at
a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral
Chapel.

age 52, passed from this life on
Those left to
cherish his memory include his wife: Donna of Odessa; his mother: Betty
Todd and step-dad Grover Todd of Pell City; one son: Weston Cotton of
Odessa; two daughters: Keitha Holmes of Big Spring and Kristi Cotton of
Odessa; two brothers Dewayne and Roy Todd of Pell City; and two
sisters: Nickie Clough and Beckie Johnson, both of Pell City. He had
numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was also blessed with
nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
His father, Aime
Zachero, preceded him in death. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Acres West with Reverend Jason Cotton officiating. Interment will follow at Western Roses Memorial Park, 4100 N. FM 1788, Midland County. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

She is survived by three daughters- Margarita Nunez Renteria, Norma Nunez Renteria, and Maria de Jesus Nunez Renteria, all of Chihuahua, MX; one son - Victor Manuel Nunez Renteria of Chihuahua, MX; two sisters - Juana Renteria of Midland and Maria Renteria of Odessa; five brothers - Alvaro Renteria, Mario Renteria, Jose Renteria, and Manuel Renteria, all of Odessa and Apolonio Renteria of Chihuahua, MX; and four grandchildren. Her husband and parents precede
her in death.
Services will be at a later date in Meoqui, CH,

Betty Jean Rhoten, age 78, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2009
at Crane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in San
Angelo on March 22, 1931 to George W. Stephenson and Gladys
Stevens. She was a factory worker.
Survivors include her two sons: Richard and Malcolm Stewart, both
of Odessa; one daughter: Janet Bigham of Amarillo; two brothers:
Paul and Bobby Stephenson, both of California; three grandchildren
and fourteen great grandchildren.
Three brothers: Jack, Jerry, and Larry Stephenson; one sister: Claudia Stevens; and her grandson: Joshua Stewart, precede her in death.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are
entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

After serving in
the Army in WWII, he eventually returned to
His oldest
daughter, Marcy Rhodes of Penwell and her late husband Jerry, gave him
two granddaughters, Ashley Caitlan and Bailey Erin.
His daughter, Jayne
Faltus and husband Doug of Odessa, gave him five grandchildren:
Jori D’Ann and her husband Buddy Pearce, Kari Lyn and her
husband Adolfo Gomez, Chelsea Lea Hedrick, Cynthia Dawn Faltus, and
Christopher D. Faltus.
The youngest,
Clarence Earl Kenley Jr. of
He was also blessed
with six great-grandchildren: Chase Alexander Pearce, Alexander Joey
Pearce, Jayden Bryce Pearce, Brianna Nichole Hedrick, Kaleb Matthew
Gomez, and Kaylee Chenault.
His former wife of
25 years, Audrey Kenley, his parents, a baby brother and one sister:
Lillie Baker, preceded him in death.

Buford Gotcher, age 66, of Artesia
passed from this life on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Midland
Memorial Hospital. He was born in Plainview, TX. He was a surveyor
for the oil field.
Survivors include three sisters: Shirley Sanchez, LeVerne Strawn
and Glenda Maurer, all of Artesia; brother: Preston Gotcher of
Gatesville, TX; brother-in-law: Mike Maurer; and niece: Jackie
Black.
Graveside memorial services will
be 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 05, 2010 at Woodbine Cemetery in
Artesia, NM. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral
Chapel.
