| Carol Jeane Arnold Cavender |

Carol Cavender, age 63, passed
away on Friday, January 1, 2010 at Hospice House in Odessa. She was
born on January 8, 1946 in Big Spring. She was a housewife.
Survivors include her husband: Jim Bob Cavender of Odessa, six
sons: David, Scott, and Eric Arnold, all of Odessa, Bill and
James Cavender of Odessa and Shawn Cavender of Phoenix, AZ; six
daughters: Penny, Aprile and Amy Arnold, all of Odessa, Dianne and
Nancy Cavender of Odessa and Angi Cavender of Phoenix, AZ; one
brother: Robert Keefer of Odessa; and one sister: Sue Pritchard of
Odessa. She was "Grannie Carol" to twenty-five grandchildren
and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister: Judy Cavender; parents: Lewis Parker and Marjorie Anne Overton Parker; son: Dale Arnold; and first husband: William Melvin Arnold.
Funeral Services are scheduled for
2:00 pm Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Central Baptist Church. Pastor
David Johnson will be officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset
Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral
Chapel.

58, of Terlingua, Texas, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at
Hospice House in Odessa, Texas. He
was born in Tillamook, OR. He worked in an Oregon shipyard. He
was a US Marine veteran.
He is survived by his four

Morales, age 18, passed away on
Jaime was the best
son anyone could ask for.
He was a hard worker. He
liked to stay up late and sleep late, and loved to race cars.
He was the type of person who’d give the shirt off of his back
to others and who had actually lain his jacket down over oil so others
could walk across unsoiled.
Those left behind
to cherish his love and memory are his mother: Maria Veronica

Thomas "Tommy"
Stanley Pearson, age 87, of Odessa, passed away on Wednesday,
January 13, 2010, at Medical Center Hospital.
He was born in Fabens, TX on March 13, 1922 to Frederick W. Pearson
and Mathilde (Hernandez) Pearson. He was an Army Veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis
(Wheeler) Pearson of Odessa and
son-in-law: David Bennett of Odessa.
Graveside services
will be privately held at
Fort Bliss National Cemetery.

Catherine
(McClelland) Wallette, age 86, passed away early Thursday, January 14,
2010, at her home in Odessa, Texas.
She was born in Odin, Illinois on December 27, 1923 to Jonas and
Goldie McClelland. She
married Earnest Sail Wallette, Jr. on November 7, 1942 in Salem, IL.
She was an interior
decorator, who enjoyed making the world a more beautiful place.
She loved to play Bingo.
Those left to
cherish her love and memory are two daughters:
Charollette McBrayer of Odessa and Margaret DeBenedetto of
Houston; one son: Ronald
Wallette of Houston; one brother:
Harold McClelland of Farmington, NM; eleven grandchildren and
fifteen great-grandchildren.
Her parents: Jonas
and Goldie; husband: Earnest; two sons:
Larry and Robert; and three brothers:
Cecil, Loren, and Ray, precede her in death.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, officiated by her grandson, Rev. Farren Dunaway Mathena. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Anibal Hernandez, age 23, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2010
in a car accident in West Odessa. He was born in Odessa and was a
lifetime Odessa resident. He was Catholic.
He is survived by his mother: Antonia Hernandez; grandmother:
Cristina Hernandez; grandfather: Thomas Hernandez; and a host of
aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Rosary will be said Monday, January 18, 2010 at 7:00 pm and
Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 7:00 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Holy
Redeemer Catholic Church, officiated by Father Arturo Pestin.
Interment will follow at Los Angeles Garden of Ector County
Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Marfa. She is survived by her daughter: Maria C. Muñoz of El Paso; one sister: Trine Morales of Marfa; two grandchildren: May Rodriguez of El Paso and Rosa Strange of Las Cruces, NM; three great-grandchildren: June, Ryan, and Risa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
