passed away on Tuesday,
March 2, 2010
in Artesia, NM. He was
born in El Mangle, Chihuahua, Mexico.
He is survived by his father
- Porfirio Andujo of El
Mangle, MX; two daughters:
Perla Galindo and
Griselda Rodriguez, both of
Odessa; two sons:
Eloy Andujo and
Adrian Andujo, both of
Odessa; two sisters:
Espiranza Quinones of Presidio
and Belia Baeza of Clute, Texas;
four brothers:
Martin Andujo of Odessa,
Inocente Andujo of Cuchillo Parado, MX,
Ramon Andujo and Reynaldo
Andujo, both of Presidio, and
four grandchildren.
Services will be at a later date at Cristo
Rey in El Mangle, Mexico. Interment will be at El Mangle Cemetery
in El Mangle MPO de Coyame,
CH, Mexico. Arrangements

Daniel Lee Pyle, age 50, of Odessa,
Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Deerings
Nursing Home in Odessa, Texas. He
was born in Odessa. He was a welder.
He is
survived by his mother:
Ava Gaines and
step-father: Douglas Gaines of Odessa; one brother: Bryan
Pyle of Odessa; and one nephew:
Tyler Pyle of Phoenix, AZ.
His father: Carrol Ray Pyle and two brothers: Russell Van Pyle and Kevin Scott Pyle, precede him in death.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday,
March 27, 2010 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, officiated by Michael

Howard was a friend of Bill W. since 1998 and
through him, Howard touched many lives and made cherished lifelong
friendships. Also, as a

Howard is preceded in death by his parents and his
sister-in-law: Carol
Scott.

Hazel Marie Draughan, age 66, passed away on Hazel was a domestic engineer who was an awesome
cook. She loved children
and would take anyone in.
She spoiled her kids, but taught them to always stick to it and never
quit. She was very proud
and always excelled in everything she did.
She was not a judgmental person and wanted to be fair and loving
to everyone, but she never let you put on over on her either!
Those left to cherish her
memory are five daughters:

passed on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at his
home in Odessa. He was
born in Bakersfield, CA on November 24, 1952 to Terry Stewart and
Betty Jean (Stephenson) Stewart. He was a carpet cleaner.
He is survived by his sister:
Janet Bigham and husband Dale
of Amarillo; and
brother: Richard Stewart and
wife Kathy of Odessa.
His father: Terry Stewart and mother: Betty Rhoten, precede him in death.
Funeral services
will be at Acres West Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 9,
2010, Bro Clydell Chapman and
Dale Bigham officiating.

Carmen Venzor-Anchondo, age
89, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Hospice House. She
was born in Bachiniva, Chihuahua, Mexico to the late Justo and
Emilia (Anchondo) Venzor. She was a homemaker. She was a
Jehovah's Witness (East Congregation).
Those left to cherish her memory are her son: Efrain Dorame of Reno, NV; four daughters: Emilia Arivas of Grand Junction, CO, Hilda Hernandez of Denver, CO, Irma Pirchado of Clovis, NM, and Zulema Muñoz of Odessa; four brothers: Adolfo Venzor, Felix Venzor, Adam Venzor, and Justo Venzor, all of Mexico; sister: Concepcion Salcido of Deming, NM; 31 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00
pm Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Acres West Funeral Chapel,
officiated by Hugo Martinez. Interment will follow at Los
Angeles Garden of Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are

James Allen Plattsmier, age 84, passed away on Monday, March 8,
2010 at his Odessa home. He was born in Rayne, LA to Geroge
Louis Plattsmier and Fabiola (Chappuis) Plattsmier. He was a
US Army Veteran and worked in oil field supply sales.
Those left to cherish his love
and memory are his wife: Gloria (Bell) Plattsmier of Odessa;
daughter: Kellye Longoria of Odessa; brother: Daniel
Plattsmier of Franklin, TN; three grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.

business.

Odessa; 2 sisters:

Maldonado, both of San Bernardino, Calif.;
3 brothers: Jesse Maldonado of Tijuana, Baja CA, MX,

Lorenzo Maldonado of Huntington Park, Calif.;
and 6 grandchildren.

She was Catholic.
She is survived by two daughters: Lilia
Yniguez of Los Angeles, Calif.
and Ernestina Yniguez of El Paso; son: Roman
Yniguez of Odessa; twenty-three
grandchildren and numerous
great-grandchildren.
Her parents: Pascual and Acencion (Garcia) Placencia and her husband: Refugio Prieto Yniguez, precede her in death.
Visitation was Friday, March 12, 2010.
Graveside memorial services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 16, 2010

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ft. Davis at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass
will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Church of
Ft. Davis at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 16, 2010,
officiated by Father Miguel Alcuino. Interment will be at
St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Fort Davis, Texas.

Gorgonio Lujan, age 79, died
on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Medical Center Hospital. He was
born in Ojinaga, Mexico. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife:
Socorro Lujan of Odessa, three sons: Rene Lujan of Odessa,
Lorenzo Lujan of Ojinaga and Jesus Jimenez of Anthony, NM.;
four daughters: Minerva Lujan of Odessa, Silvia Lujan of
Midland, Sandra Lujan of Albuquerque and Reyna Lujan of
Chihuahua; seven brothers: Gonzalo Lujan of Odessa, Enrique
Lujan, Felix Lujan, Francisco Lujan and Leucauldio Lujan, all
of Ojinaga, Gerardo Lujan of Juarez and Asuncion Lujan of
Ojinaga; four sisters: Tiguia Lujan, Sofia Lujan and Catalina
Lujan all of Chihuahua, and Luz Maria Mireles of Fort Stockton.
21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at 6:00 pm on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Iglesia Bautista El
Mesias officiated by Reverend Juan Gaona. Burial will take
place in Ojinaga. Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral
Chapel.
