passed from this life on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at his
Odessa residence. He was born in Odessa on July 21, 1990.
He was a college student.
He is survived by his father:
Ernest Gilbert Byer,
Sr. of Odessa and two sisters:
Ginger Marie Mathison of Indianapolis, Ind.
and Sadie Faith Byer-Rodriguez of Odessa.
His mother, Cynthia Elizabeth (Jones) Byer, preceded him in death on April 15, 2007.

West Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM Monday, March 22, 2010, Pastor

great-nieces and nephews and many good friends who are saddened by his
death.

Ima Jean "Jeanie" Elam, age 69,
passed away on Monday, March 15, 2010 at Medical Center Hospital.
She was born in Lake Providence, LA on February 10, 1941 to the
late O.L. and Ina L. (Thompson) Herrington. She was a waitress.
Survivors include her husband: Bill Elam of Odessa; two sons:
Richard Elam of Odessa and Ronnie Elam of Apache Junction, AZ; four
daughters: Julie Cichy of Frisco, TX, Connie Harris of San
Antonio, Pam Robbins of The Colony, and Vickie Rossell of Apache
Junction, AZ; one sister: Carolyn Culver of Omaha, Arkansas;
fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm
Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Crematory.

Rachel Galindo Elizondo, age 53,
passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Hospice House of
Odessa. She was born in Pecos, TX August 9, 1956 to Marcos A.
Galindo and Alicia (Hernandez) Galindo. Her parents preceded her
in death.
She
is survived by her husband: Theodore Elizondo of Odessa; three
brothers: Ector Galindo of Pecos, TX, Marcos Galindo of Odessa,
TX, Joe Luis Galindo of Fort Stockton, TX; and two sisters: Polly
Chandler of Pecos, TX and Janie Jaramillo of Odessa, TX.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Dream Center Church at 1618 E. Murphy in Odessa officiated by Pastor Jimmy Dennis. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and Crematory.

love of her life, Glenn Couch, on She was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. She was a very loving, gentle, and forgiving person. She was a big helper and always there for those who needed her. Leisa was a good cook. She was a member of the Beit HaDerekh Messianic Congregation. She read and spoke the Hebrew language. She was a Messianic dancer.
She was preceded in
death by her father: James Jarrett.

by her husband: Glenn Couch of Odessa, TX; son: Timothy Couch and wife
Sara of Odessa, TX; two daughters: Tasha Lodge and husband Patrick of
Odessa, TX, and Amber Couch and husband Kevin Wadley of Little Rock,
Arkansas; mother: Naomi Jarrett of Lamesa, TX; three brothers: Jim Jarrett of Odessa, TX, Travis Jarrett of
Phoenix AZ, and Mike Jarrett of Lamesa, TX; four sisters: Rhonda
Huckins of Claremore, OK, Laura Weatherman and Christi McGee, both of
Lamesa, TX, and Dana Womble of Athens, TX; seven grandchildren: Bralea
Couch, Matthew Couch, Daniel Lodge, Haleigh Wadley, Gage Wadley, Kolby
Wadley, and Ryan Wadley.

He was a very caring man who dedicated his life to his
job and to his sons. He
loved his grandchildren and his son’s friends.
He enjoyed music, listening to classic rock and playing his
guitar. He also liked
western books and movies.
Jack is survived by his three sons:

his Odessa home. He was born in Van Horn, TX. He was a US
Army Veteran.

(Blythe) Heard of Odessa; father: Robert Glen Heard of
Brownwood; two sons: Robert Heard of Stanton and Chris Lorenz
of Lubbock; four daughters: Shelly Crawford of Pickton, TX,
Shana Roberson of Colorado City, and Sheila McDonald and Kay
Conley, both of Odessa; two brothers: Wayne and Rodger Brooks,
both of Odessa; one sister: Patricia Brooks-Dury of Midland;
and fifteen grandchildren.
