William Terrell “Bill” Kluting, Jr. age 79, passed from this life on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at his Odessa home. He was born in Peacock, TX to Chester and Mattie (Guess) Kluting on April 14, 1931. He was a photographer, truck driver, and ranch hand. He was a US Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. Those left to cherish his memory are his son: William Terrell Kluting, Jr. and wife Cindy of Phoenix, AZ; daughter: Theresa Braun and husband Gary of Odessa; brother: Lester Kluting of Las Cruces, NM; sister: Becky Kluting of Carlsbad, NM; nine grandchildren: Terrell, Sarah, Paul, Billy Ray, Brandy, William Jeffrey, JonWayne, Danielle, and Justine; and fifteen great-grandchildren Memorial services with military honors will be 3:00 pm Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Zion Ministries Church, officiated by Pastor Carrie Stanton. Veronica Monje (Monje) Mora, age 35, of Midland,
Texas, passed from this life on Friday, April 16, 2010, at Medical
Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. She is survived by her husband: Jose Luis Carrasco of Ojinaga, MX; father: Ricarte Monje of Midland; two sons: Luis Monje of Midland and Victor Alejandro Carrasco of Ojinaga; four sisters: Patricia Monje, Gabriela Monje, Adriana Monje, and Minerva Monje, all of Midland; and four brothers: Isidro Monje , Jose Monje , and Baltazar Monje, all of Midland, and Dionicio Mora of Minneapolis, Minn. Funeral services will be at a later date at Santuario de Guadalupe in Ojinaga, MX. Interment will be at El Ultimo Refugio Cementerio in Ojinaga, Mexico. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel of Odessa and Funeraria De Rocha of Ojinaga.

Eliza Primera Holguin, age 68, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on Friday,
April 16, 2010, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born in Fort
Stockton on August 13, 1941 to Cosme O. Primera and Angelita (Garcia)
Primera. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and
Able Senior Citizens. Eliza owned and operated the Holguin El Nopal Café
in Odessa from 1973 to 1980. She also worked as a CNA, then
stayed home to be with her family. She never really retired,
always staying busy. She sold jewelry and worked in her garden.
She was a very happy person, always smiling, laughing, and joking. She is survived by three daughters: Irma
Guevara and husband Ruben of Odessa, Delma H. Diaz and husband Luis of
Midland, and Laura Reyes and husband Robert of Snyder; two sons:
Guadalupe (Wally) Holguin and wife Lori and Luciano Holguin, III and
wife Juana, all of Odessa; two sisters: Senaida Fabela and
Socorro Ureta, both of Fort Stockton; and two brothers: Cosme
Primera of Midland and Jimmy Primera of Odessa; fifteen grandchildren
and sixteen great-grandchildren. Rosary will be said 7:00 pm, Monday, April 19, 2010 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, officiated by Father Bernardito Getigan. Interment will follow at Los Angeles Garden of Ector County Cemetery. Shirley Jean (Wright) Martin, age 74, of Odessa, passed from this life
on Saturday, April 17, 2010 in Odessa.
She was born in Lueders, Texas on January 26, 1936 to Jack and
Eva (Barron) Wright. She
was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother, as well as a mudlogger in the oilfield.
She is survived by her husband Darrel Martin of
Odessa; two daughters:
Teresa Braswell and husband Bruce of Odessa and Vickie Dawn Clayton and
husband Jerry of Jasper, FL; four sons:
Bobby Martin, Willie Martin, Harlan Darrel Martin, Jr. and
Harlan Dever Martin II, all of Odessa; two sisters:
Ruby Pendrey of Pensacola, FL and Edith Wand of Harbor City, CA;
one brother: J. D. Wright
of Corpus Christi; thirteen grandchildren and twelve
great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 20,
2010 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Clay Porter.

Eastland, TX on November 2, 1973. She was a certified nurse’s
assistant.

Della Ann Trimble, loving mother and grandmother of Odessa, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010 at Medical Center Hospital at the age of 65. She was born in Olney, Texas on September 23, 1944 to C.F. Kelly Loyd and Vesta Ozell (Clarkson) Loyd. She married Bobby Gene Trimble on May 28, 1966 in Odessa at Kingston Avenue Baptist Church. They were married for 36 wonderful years at the time of his death on July 11, 2002. Della retired from the Odessa Police Department after fifteen years of dedicated service as a dispatcher and administrative secretary to the Deputy Chief of Police. Della had many hobbies and interests. She enjoyed gardening, shopping for her kitchen, and cooking for everyone. She made homemade candy, cookies, and decorated cakes for her friends and family. Gramms especially loved to bake cookies with her grandson while spoiling him rotten. She was a member of the American Legion Post # 430 and was very involved. For hamburger night she did the shopping, the chopping, and the cooking. Della was very excited about her future “son”. Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Julie Glisson and husband Billy of Odessa, and Angela Trimble and fiancé Michael Laws of Weatherford, Texas; one grandson, Jeffrey Glisson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Wilma McFadden. Memorial services will be 10:00 am Friday, April 23, 2010 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, officiated by Bro. Jennifer Lynne Pattillo, a Terlingua native, died
unexpectedly, Monday, April 19, 2010, at Medical Center Hospital of
Odessa. She was 33. Jennifer was preceded in death by one daughter, Amety Pattillo-Smith; maternal grandparents, Joanne and Kenneth (Zero) Kempf; and paternal grandfather, John W. (Red) Pattillo. Survivors include one son, Anthony Aaron and mother, Elizabeth Gay Davidson of Fort Stockton, Texas and the Davidson family of Alpine and Fort Davis, Texas; and her father, James Pattillo, along with his wife Rosni Pattillo, one sister, Natalie Pattillo and one brother, Omar Pattillo, all of Alpine, Texas; and Grandmothers, Laura E. Pattillo, of Houston, Texas and Ronnie Pattillo, of Alpine, Texas; and her lifelong extended family of the Rio Grande Rafting Community. Family visitation will be open 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Davidson home, 210 FM 170, located in front of Historical Terlingua Ghost Town. Graveside services will be held at the Terlingua
Cemetery, in the Historical Terlingua Ghost Town on Saturday, May 1,
2010 at 3:00 p.m., by Pastor Martin of El Paso Mission and reading by
Uncle Steve Harris.

Jimmy Daryl Wilson, age 58, passed from this life on Wednesday, April
21, 2010 at Medical Center Hospital.
He was born in Monahans on October 27, 1951 to Jimmy Wilson and
Melba (Gladden) Wilson.
He was a talented artist who did the most beautiful air brushing.
He was highly intelligent and enjoyed reading.
Jimmy had a big heart and he was very generous.
He loved his family and loved animals.
He is survived by his mother:

Billie married her loving husband, Gerald Sadberry, on March 29, 1953
in Odessa, Texas. Billie
and Gerald were blessed with three wonderful sons, four grandchildren,
and three great-grandchildren.
Billie will be so deeply missed by everyone that knew her, most
especially by her loved ones.
She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and
great-grandmother.

Billie truly enjoyed her friends from Church.
We all want to give a special thank you to Judy Clements, Ruth
Carlton, Della Copeland, and Oleta Westfall for being such wonderful
friends and helping take care of her during her illness.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at
Acres West Funeral Chapel.
Brother Terry Wright will conduct the funeral service that will be held
at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Westover Baptist Church, where
Billie was a member.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
