Liesbeth M. (Boeckelt) Ross, “Liz”, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at her Odessa residence.  She was born in Reichenbach, Germany on October 3, 1936 to the late Fritz Gustov Boeckelt and Marta Anna (Werner) Boeckelt.  She met her husband, an American soldier, in Germany and then relocated to the US.  They started their family in California where she worked for Kaiser Permanente in Panorama City, CA until coming to Texas in 1976.  In Odessa, she worked as a clerk for Big John’s Grocery for about ten years.  She was a member of the Lutheran church.

In addition to her parents, her first husband:  Alan Davis, and second husband, Jimmie Ross, precede her in death.  She is also preceded in death by her son:  Michael Boeckelt and her brother: Peter Werner.
