Linda Gale Adams, age 46, of Tulsa, Oklahoma went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 10, 2012 in Tulsa. She was born in Odessa on Thursday, February 3, 1966 to Sonny Adams and Joyce (Barner) Adams. Linda worked for Newport Television in their human resources department. She was very dedicated to her career.
Linda loved people and animals. She was an outgoing person who never met a stranger. She was a Christian woman, who put God and family first. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who was especially devoted to her grandchildren.

William Franklin “Bill” Rich, age 79, of Odessa, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012, at his residence. He was born in Dickens County, Texas on November 4, 1932 to the late Joseph Benjamin Rich and Lydia Mae (Bradford) Rich. He was an oilfield superintendent for V & B Drilling for 44 years.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son: Glenn Franklin Rich and wife Mary Ann of Seguin; four daughters: Debbie Dunagin and husband Buddy, Kay Carroll and husband Curtis, Kim Bailey and husband Roy Don Bohannon and Gail Mauck and husband Floyd, all of Odessa; two sisters: Bernie Tull and Laverne Cox, both of Odessa; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his son: Larry Douglas Rich; two brothers: Bill and Joe Rich; sister: Jewell Stephenson; and three nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, June 13, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Graveside services will be at Los Angeles Garden of Ector County Cemetery at 9:00 AM Thursday, June 14, 2012, Pastor Mark McDonald officiating. Linda Carolyn Brown, age 71, of Monahans, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012, at Hospice House in Odessa, Texas. She was born in Childress, Texas on May 5, 1941 to the late Earl Adolphus Brown and Madie Ada (Hays) Brown. She was a registered nurse.
She is survived by her daughter: Mada Simone McKeever of Monahans; son: Earl Steven Brown-Martinez of Monahans; one sister: Betty Morgan of Symsonia, KY; one brother: A.J. Mason of Salem, KY and four grandchildren: Samuel Lee McKeever and Nichole Simone Choffin, both of Monahans, Weston Brown of Amarillo, and Shelby Cole of Masschusetts.

Sharon JoAnn Roberts, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born in South Los Angeles, California on October 15, 1938 to the late Sherman Emery Walton and Marie Valeria (Allan) Walton. She was a homemaker, beloved mother and grandmother.
Survivors are her son: Sherman Melvin Hughes of Odessa; daughters: Frances Elder and Carissa Hogle, both of Odessa; brother: Patrick Walton of Los Angeles, CA; sister: Noreen Walton of Los Angeles; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Michael Clair “Mike” Barnett, age 62, of Odessa, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. He was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on July 1, 1949 to Cecil Kenneth Barnett and Evelyn Roberta (Mihills) Barnett. Mr. Barnett was the owner and operator Mike's 24 Hour Lock and Key of Cleburne. He was a Christian man.
Mike enjoyed traveling and listening to all kinds of music.
He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Sue Barnett of Odessa; daughter: Crystal Hannah of Fort Worth; step-son: Sean Eckel of Ardmore, Okla.; sister: Cathy Barnett of Fort Worth; two brothers: Charles "Chuck" Barnett of Houston and Bob Barnett of Kentucky; and three grandchildren: Austin, Garrett and Brooke.

Cary Lee Iness, 64, of Odessa, passed away on Thursday , June 14, 2012 at his residence in Odessa. He was born in Monahans on May 18, 1948 to Walter Sherman and Rose Gordon Iness. Cary served in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam War veteran.
Cary loved karaoke. He loved it so much he was nicknamed “Cary Karaoke”. He loved singing at Basin Nights, VFW, and Neon Moon. Anywhere there was karaoke you could find Cary. Hunting, outdoors, and hot rods were his loves, but family was the biggest love of his life. Cary was very compassionate towards people and would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. When it came to religious discussions, he would be right in the middle trying to let everyone know how he felt on the topic. Cary will truly be missed.
Survivors are his son: Hondo and wife Kristy Iness of Odessa; daughter: Eva and husband John Gonzales of Odessa; sister: Rose Marie and husband Lloyd Boatman of Carlsbad, NM; and eleven grandchildren.

Edubigues “Vicky” G. Fuentes, age 81, of Roswell, NM passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 16, 2012 in Odessa, Texas. She was born in Barstow, Texas on September 11, 1930 to Gregorio and Brijida (Muñiz) Gonzales. She moved from Pecos to Roswell in 1986 and resided there for 24 years. She was a homemaker, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
Our mother, from the day we each were born, was a fierce protector of her children and grandchildren. She raised us to be strong and independent adults. Our mother, while sometimes untraditional, lived to make our lives so much better than her own. She loved each of us no matter what we did or said. We are who we are because of her and her love: We will remain strong. She could give you the family history by heart. She never forgot anybody’s birthday and she wanted to make sure everyone was always well fed. She loved to crochet, make tamales, and talk on the phone to friends and relatives near and far. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Vicky is preceded in death by her husband: Guadalupe Fuentes, Sr. ; her parents: Gregorio and Brijida Gonzales; sister: Estefana Garcia; brother: Nicolas Gonzales; and half brothers: Isbael Gonzales, Frank Gonzales, and Silvestre Gonzales.
Rosary will be said 11:30 am on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Barstow, TX. Communion Services will be at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, June 19th as well, at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Barstow with interment to follow at Barstow Cemetery. Pablo Garcia Bustamante, 59, of Odessa, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Coyame, Chihuahua, Mexico to Francisco and Francisca Bustamante. Pablo married his loving wife Josefina Reyes on July 6, 1973 in Coyame, Mexico.
Pablo was an outdoors person. He loved horses, ranching, and gardening. His favorite vegetables to grow were jalapenos, squash, and tomatoes. Riding in rodeos was what he liked to do the best. Telling stories was another past time -and he was very good at it. Pablo loved his kids and grandkids and was a happy person that always wore a smile. That smile will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife: Josefina Reyes Bustamante of Odessa; sons: Pablo Bustamante, Jr., Alonzo Bustamante, Jose Angel Bustamante all of Odessa and Antonio Bustamante of Ojinaga, Mexico; daughters: Cindy Bustamante and Tanya Bustamante of Odessa; brother: Francisco Bustamante of Juarez, Mexico; sisters: Margarita Bustamante, Maria Elena Ultiveros, Belia Dianda, and Irene Dianda, all of Odessa; and ten grandchildren.

Tammy Annette Tate, age 51, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born in Kennett, Missouri on May 3, 1961 to the late Boyce Tate and Betty (Woods) Tate. She was a waitress.
She is survived by three sisters: Kathy Ransom, Rebecca Tate, and Debra Adams; one brother: Boyce Dewayne Tate; and her good friend: James "Jim" Barnsley.

Christopher James Bellinger, age 26, of Odessa, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at his home. He was born in Lubbock, on December 5, 1985 to Carole Bellinger Ransom and the late James Roosevelt Jones. He married Karime Leyva in Odessa on Valentine’s Day, 2008. He was a derrick hand, working in the oilfield.
Chris was a good person. He was sweet and gentle and very nice, with a childlike curiosity. He enjoyed kick boxing, participating and watching Ultimate Fighting. He was devoted to his wife and children.
He is survived by his wife Karime (Leyva) Bellinger; daughter: Jazlynn Aaliyah Bellinger; two sons: La'Damien Bellinger and Christopher James Bellinger Jr.; mother: Carole Ransom; step-father: Jimmy Ransom; and two brothers: LaTroy Bellinger and Jesus Garcia; all of Odessa.

Carl Leslie Spencer, 72, of Odessa passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 at his residence. He was born on August 24, 1939 to Iver and Florence Spencer. He was married to Virginia Clayton Spencer.
Carl’s hobby was making birdhouses. He liked football and hockey. And when it was meal time Carl was always there, he never skipped a meal. Carl lived through everything. He was told time and time again by Dr.’s over the years that he had a disease that he would not live through BUT he always did. He worked for Amoco for 17 ½ years. But out of everything he did or loved in life he loved his kids the best.

Marcelino Pedroza Dominguez, 69, of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Midland Memorial Hospital. He was born in Ojinanga, Chihuahua, Mexico on April 27, 1943 to Lucano and Juana Dominguez. He married Yolanda Garcia Dominguez in 1963.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his sons: Victor Manuel Garcia and Martin Dominguez both of Ojinaga, Mexico, Raul Dominguez and Jesse Dominguez both of Midland; daughter: Rosa Dominguez of Midland; brothers: Hector Dominguez and Lorenzo Dominguez both of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico; sisters: Carmela Ramos of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico and Concepcion Marquez of Presidio, Texas; nineteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

George Ulate Fuentez, beloved son and brother, age 53, of Odessa, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Pecos on April 23, 1959 to Tomasa Ulate Fuentez and the late Toribio L. Fuentez. He worked for the City of Odessa in the water department. George had a big heart and was full of life.
He is survived by his mother: Tomasa U. Fuentez of Odessa; four brothers: Gilbert Fuentez and Jamie Fuentez, both of Odessa, Harvey Fuentez and wife Mary of Indianapolis, IN, and Toribio Fuentez, Jr. of Longmont, CO; and four sisters: Grace Ramirez and husband Silvio, Geneva Quiñonez, Cindy Martinez and husband Al, and Prissy Padilla and husband Mike, all of Odessa; 24 nieces and nephews; and 24 great nieces and nephews.

Laura Ann (Frasier) Moon, age 77, of Odessa, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Hospice House in Odessa. She was born in Gorman, TX on August 18, 1934 to the late Irving Frank Frasier and Tom Ben (Coan) Frasier. Laura married James Edward “Corky” Moon and he preceded her in death in 1997. She worked in the meat department at Furrs Grocery Store.

Jessie Lee Mayes, 70, of Odessa, Texas, entered his eternal home on Wednesday evening June 20, 2012, In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at Mercy Hospital surrounded by family. He was born April 18, 1942, in Trinity, Texas, the son of the late Anna and Thomas Jefferson Mayes of Odessa, Texas. Jessie was the 2nd oldest of 7 siblings.
The Mayes family moved from Trinity, Texas to Odessa, Texas prior to the family moving to Odessa, Jessie attended school in Trinity, Texas where he graduated High School in 1960. Jessie later moved to Houston, Texas, where he attended culinary school and began a career as a chef. While in Houston Jessie married Carolyn Hawkins, from that union a daughter was born Pamela Mayes.
Jessie and Carolyn moved to Odessa, Texas in 1972. At a young age Jessie took on the responsibility of helping raise seven of his wife's siblings when they lost their mother. Jessie worked for J.H. Rose trucking company where he later became part owner until he began to work for the Ector County Independent School District (ECISD) in 1976 where he worked in the mailroom, after 20 years of service Jessie retired in 2008.
In 1974 Jessie married Jewlean Rheams, of Odessa who also worked for ECISD as a secretary for Blackshear Jr. High School where she also retired after 20 years of service. Jessie was a member of St. James and Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Odessa where he served on the usher board. After retirement Jessie devoted more time to his own janitorial and lawn care business for many years. He was a devoted husband, father and a caring family man and he enjoyed spending time with his family and he enjoyed the outdoors.
In late 2010 Jessie began to have health problems, but always keep a good spirit. Despite needing a kidney he went to many treatments and traveled to Dallas, Texas to be placed on the Kidney waiting list. In February of 2012 after a stay in Odessa Medical Center, he was moved to Oklahoma City by his daughter Pamela Green, of Oklahoma City for long term care until his passing.
He is survived by his Wife Jewlean Mayes of the home, daughter Pamela Green and Son In-Law Virgil Green of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two brother’s Kinney Mayes his wife Ordelia of Odessa and James of Abilene; three Sisters Ardia Watson her husband Melvin, Tivola Fobbs and her husband Vernell both of Odessa and Mittie Handley and her husband Jonathan of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by one Step-son Nashid Abdullah of Dallas, Texas. Jessie has 5 grandchildren, Anntwonette Evans, Michael Evans Matthew Evans, Quinten Green and Alyssa Green all of Oklahoma City, OK. Jessie has a total of 8 great- grand children.
Jessie was preceded in death by his parents Anna and Thomas Mayes of Odessa, Texas and one sister Rosie Mae Mayes, Jessie also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, June 29, 2012 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Odessa, TX, officiated by Elder Robert Lewis.
