Abby – Era una persona muy dulce, una mama muy luchista, muy esforzada, nunca demostró sus problemas y necesidades ella cargaba todo sola. Fue madre soltera por anos y supo sacar a sus hijos con mucho amor y paciencia. Tenía muchas amistades q siempre le mostraron muncho amor. Ella recibió la paz de Dios cuando recibió al Señor Jesús en su corazón en lo que su vida cambio. Comenzó a caminar y hablar en la fe demostrando le a su mama y hermanos. Llego a ver su padre por última vez en que tenía años sin ver, Se fue salvando sus hijos hasta el fin cubriendo los en sus brazos.

Donna Fay Reynolds, age 60, of Odessa, passed
from this life on Monday, December 24, 2012, at Medical Center
Hospital. She was born
in Colorado Springs, CO on December 8, 1952 to the late Harvey
Wayne Decker and Lois Myrtle (Jeffers) Decker.
Donna was an awesome homemaker and was very
particular about the appearance of her house.
She was a seamstress who sewed and crocheted and even taught
her grandkids to crochet.
She enjoyed watching Western movies and wrestling and was
quite the fighter herself.
She struggled with COPD for many years.
She is survived by her daughters:

Reed and husband Kenny of Plummerville, AR; son:

Darla Jean Trent, age 57, of Odessa, passed away on Wednesday,
December 26, 2012 at her residence.
She was born in Oklahoma City, OK on March 12, 1955 to the
late Guy E. Thomason, Jr. and Bernice Mae (Cranton) Thomason and was
raised in Midland, TX.
She was a talented cake decorator and baker.
A former St. Louis, MO resident (where she spent most of her
adult life), Darla trained other bakers in St. Louis in baking and
Darla loved to travel and worked for a time on the Mississippi Queen
riverboat. She enjoyed
fishing and doing beadwork, and loved daisies.
She was a deeply spiritual person who was very much a people
person. Her best
friend, however, was Ashley – her dog, who she lost four years ago.

Emanuel Monty Williamson, age 71, of Odessa, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Clover, Idaho on September 25, 1941 to the late Johnny James Williamson and Helena Louise (Adolf) Williamson. He was a boat captain and a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his brother: Johnny Williamson of Grapeview, WA; and three sisters: Connie Todd of Odessa, Rita Strong of Huntington Beach, CA, and Lana Salter of Mission, TX.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Friday, January 4, 2013 at 1st Church of the Nazarene, officiated by Tom Todd. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Texas Cheyenne Stoner, age 65, of Odessa, passed away on Thursday,
December 27, 2012, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
He was born in Wichita, KS on April 8, 1947, the son of Rebecca
Harriet Ford the late Paul Nolan Stoner.
He was a US Marine Veteran, having served two tours in
Vietnam. He worked as
a diesel technician.
Also known as “Diablo Tex”, Texas was a member of the Cowboy Fast
Draw Association and the Comanche Moon Renegades.
He was an avid gun collector and was also a member of the
Midland Shooters Association.
Catfish and Company was his favorite restaurant, where he
enjoyed flirting with all the waitresses.
Texas also haunted the Home Depot.
A very loving and generous man, he always gave to others
with no expectation of receiving anything in return.
He always wanted to see others happy no matter what the cost
to himself, and watched over his friends and family to be sure they
arrived safely at their destinations.

Venesta Renee (Thurman) Davis, age 50, of Odessa, TX, was taken Home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 24, 2012, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She was born in Odessa on May 30, 1962 to Willie James Thurman, Sr. and Vera Lee (Anderson) Lee.
She was a free spirit who enjoyed the outdoors and liked to fish. She was an excellent cook and baker and made every family gathering a little tastier. Venesta was a devout Christian woman who devoted her time to mission work, going on Christian retreats, and listening to Gospel music. She was very spiritual and focused on strengthening her relationship with the Lord.

Obed Tarango, age 65, of Odessa, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Valle de Zaragosa, Mexico on May 27, 1947 to Pedro and Josefina (Rodriguez) Tarango. He was a welder and a member of the Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife: Bertha Lidia (Lozano) Tarango of Odessa; three sons: Obed Tarango, Jr., Jose Tarango, and Jesus Miguel Tarango, all of Odessa; six daughters: Bertha Alicia Guillen of Odessa, Velia Verdugo of Decatur, Dora Elia Tarango, Ofelia Tarango, Gloria Tarango, and Guadalupe Nicolas, all of Odessa; two brothers: Isael and Jose Tarango, both of Presidio; sisters: Esperanza Tarango Lujan of Ojinaga, CH, Mexico, Adelina Carrasco of Denver City, Lidia Rojas, Lucila Tarango and Yolando Castillo, all of Hobbs, NM, Arasely Tarango of Odessa, Gloria Tarango of Denver City, and Suky Meza of Palestine, TX; thirty-two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Carlos Hector Hernandez, age 28, of Odessa, passed away into eternal peace on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Manuel Benavides, CH, Mexico to Angel and Maria Jesus (Lujan) Hernandez. He was Catholic.
He enjoyed basketball and playing games on his computer.
He is survived by his parents: Maria and Angel Hernandez of Odessa; brother: Omar Hernandez of Chihuahua, Mexico; and two sisters: Emilia Hernandez of Odessa and Lorena Chavez of Roswell, NM.

Betty Jo was born on July 15, 1928 in Gorman, Texas to Laughlin “Bud” Stinson and Bonnie Choate. At an early age the family and Betty Jo moved to Kermit, Texas. Betty went to Kermit schools all her life and graduated from Kermit High School in 1945. While in school she was a drum major and was on the tennis team. After graduation she went to secretarial school at Texas Tech and worked at various jobs. Betty Jo married Cecil Faye Don Harridge on April 17, 1949 at the Community Church in Kermit. This happy couple had three children. She was the Assistant Auditor for Winkler County until she retired. She was very active in the community. She was very active right up to 2011 in the American Legion Auxiliary; where she held the posts of President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a big volunteer in the Kermit Chamber of Commerce, as well as being a proud member of Women on Wheels Motorcycle Association. Betty Jo was very involved with the Kermit High School Alum, serving as her Class President and going on to host the entire Reunion. She was currently the President of the Winkler County Historical Commission. Whenever anyone needed a hand they could always count on Betty Jo.
