Dorrina Ruth Reese, age 42, of Spicewood, TX, passed from this life on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at her home. We know that she is with the Lord, because she was saved.
Dorrina was born in Andrews, TX on September 19, 1970. She attended Odessa High School and was on the OHS swim team, graduating in 1989. She had a bubbly and fun loving personality and loved animals. Her kids were her #1 priority. When she had free time, it was usually spent outdoors enjoying nature, working in her yard or garden. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and when in Odessa, she attended Sunset Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother: Barbara Reese of Odessa; father and step mother: Vic and Mary Lou Reese of Gardendale; paternal grandmother: Nelda Norman of Del Rio; son: Zachery Fletcher of Odessa; daughter: Cortney Fletcher of Odessa; one brother: Kirk Reese and wife Risé of Odessa; and three nieces of Odessa.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Mamie and George Fielder and paternal grandfather: George W. Reese.
Memorial services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Sunset Heights Baptist Church, 2401 W. 16th Street, Odessa, officiated by Bro. Jess Little. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and condolences to the family may be sent online at acreswestfuneral.com.

Jacob Anastacio Rodriguez, age 49, of Odessa passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at St. Paul University Hospital in Dallas, TX. He was born in Roswell, NM on January 8, 1964 to Lupita (Stogden) Rodriguez and the late Joe Rodriguez. Jacob married Judy Sandoval in Clovis, NM on September 17, 1982. He served in the US National Guard and worked in auto repair, paint and body work. He was a Christian.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his wife: Judy Rodriguez of Odessa; mother: Lupita Rodriguez of Roswell, NM; sons: Jacob Nathan Rodriguez and wife Yezenia of Odessa and Adam Rodriguez and wife Amy of Clovis, NM; daughter: Nicole Martinez and husband Rosendo of Odessa; seven brothers: Joe Rodriguez of Pueblo, CO, Jesse Rodriguez of Roswell, NM, Jerry Rodriguez of San Antonio, James Rodriguez of Moriarty, NM, Johnny Rodriguez of Ft. Sumner, NM, Julian Rodriguez of Roswell, NM, and Jason Rodriguez of New Braunfels; two sisters: Marilyn of Mescalero, NM and Josie of Albuquerque, NM; six grandchildren: Rosendo and Navaeh Martinez, and Xavier, Mariah, Elijah, and Serenity Rodriguez.
His father and grandparents preceded him in death.
Funeral Services with military honors are set for 2:00 pm Monday, May 20, 2013 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, 8115 W. University Blvd, Odessa, officiated by Pastor Brian Serrano. Kendra Lynn Harrison
Kendra Lynn Harrison, age 42, of Odessa, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013 in Odessa. She was born in Big Spring, TX on January 8, 1971 to the late Johnny Harrison, Jr. and Karen Sue (Lawson) Harrison. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years: Jimmy Doyle Traywick of Big Spring; son: Case Sea Heckler of Big Spring; two daughters: Katlynn River Traywick and Kimberly Lake Lurlene Traywick, both of Rose Bud, AR; sister: Khristy MacMahan Di’Antonio of Punaluu, Hawaii; brothers: Casey Chance Harrison of Odessa and Robert Earl Pace of Abilene; and aunt: Karla Lawson Ingram of Odessa.
A celebration of Kendra’s life will be held 11: 00 am at 5519 W. Cross St. in Odessa on Saturday, May 25, 2013.

Maria Carrasco Gonzales, age 84, of Andrews, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013 at her home. She was born in Barranco Azul, Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico on May 16, 1929 to the late Severino and Hercilia (Ramos) Carrasco. She was a homemaker. She was a Christian, a member of Iglesia Apostolica en la Fe en Cristo Jesus.
She is survived by her brother: Heriberto Carrasco, Sr. of Andrews; brother-in-law: Aurelio Gallegos of Ojinaga, CH, MX; sisters-in-law: Esperanza Carrasco of Ojinaga, CH, MX and Consuelo Carrasco of Andrews; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents; husband: Casimiro Gonzales; brother: Alejandro Carrasco, sister: Eva Gallegos, and one nephew: Nahum Gallegos, precede her in death.
A prayer service will be held at Acres West Funeral Chapel, 8115 W University Blvd. Odessa, TX at 6:00 pm Sunday, May 19, 2013. Funeral services will be at a later date in Barranco Azul, Ojinaga, CH. MX with interment to follow at Cementerio Santa Rosa.

Tommy Wayne Allred, age 59, of Odessa, passed from this life on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Hospice House of Odessa. He was born in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona on February 15, 1954 to Norman Leon Allred and Clara Oveda (Pack) Allred. Tommy had lived in Odessa since childhood and worked as a roofer.
Tommy loved rock and roll music. His favorite song was “Old Time Rock and Roll”. He enjoyed playing the lottery and gardening. About a month before he fell ill, he planted a tree with the family will cherish as a remembrance. They call it the “Tommy Tree”. Tommy’s heart belonged to his kids and grandchildren and his dogs.
Those left to cherish his memory are his lifelong friends and caretakers: Yvonne McDuffee and Debbie Morris; daughter: Amber Allred of Odessa; son: Tommy Allred of Odessa; brother: Norman Westmoreland of Mineral Wells, sister: Brigida Nordstrum of Farmington, NM; step-sons: Brian Morris and Lance Morris, both of Odessa; step-daughter: Misty McDuffee of Odessa; twelve grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: N. L. and Clara Allred; uncles: Wayne Coffee and Joe “Skeet” Coffee; and his birth parents: Frieda Sanchez and Johnny Westmoreland.

Richard Todd Allison, age 52, of Odessa, passed from this life on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Odessa on June 2, 1960 to Edgar Richard Allison and the late Mary Kathleen (Caraway) Allison. He graduated from OHS and attended West Texas State University. Todd worked in a metal shop as a flame cutter.
Todd was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching baseball and was a Texas Rangers fan. He was an animal lover and had adopted weenie dogs. A family man, nothing meant more to him than spending time with family, especially his grandbabies.
Those left to cherish Todd’s memory are his father: Dick Allison; son: Cody Allison; daughter: Ashley Allison; brother: Wade Allison; grandchildren: Colten James and Aidan Haynes; nieces: Brittany Allison and Meagan Allison; nephew: Brady Allison; great-niece: Aubrey Allison; great-nephew: Branson Allison, all of Odessa; aunt and uncle: Deby and Rick Rinker; cousins: Katie and Nick Rinker, Terry Mayo, and Teresa Robertson; and second cousin: Tater Rinker.

Deral Wayne Hudson, age 66, of Odessa, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Hospice House. He was born in McCamey on December 21, 1946 to J.D. Hudson and Emma (Yates) Hudson. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and worked in the oilfield.
Those left to cherish his memory are his niece: Judy Holley and fiancé Matt Isaacs; great-nieces: Page Holley and Lynn Holley; great-nephew: Tre Holley, all of Odessa; as well as the Hutchinson grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Michael Hudson; sister: Linda Nash; step-daughter: Gwen Hutchinson; and grandson: Shelvy Cooper.

Presley Eugene Swink
Presley Eugene Swink, age 76, of Odessa, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Peoria, TX on February 5, 1937 to the late Burtie Earl Swink and Edna Loraine (Twilliger) Swink. He married Martha Lea Walker in 1956 in Odessa. He enjoyed his work in the oilfield and was something of a workaholic. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Presley was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He could spend hours sitting on a bank waiting for a bite and loved spending time with his family around Lake Whitney, Garner State Park, Leaky, and anywhere else where he could camp and fish. Ruidoso, New Mexico’s Indian reservation also was a favorite spot for trout fishing. He loved spending his money on his “little red-headed woodpecker”, Rebecca.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife: Martha Swink of Odessa; two sons: Robert Earl Swink and Allen Presley Swink and wife Kathy, all of Odessa; daughters: Eugenia “Jeannie” Stephens and Mary Adams and partner Rudy Hernandez, all of Menard, and Rebecca Swink of Odessa; brother: Paul Page and wife Pam of Peoria; four sisters: Kathleen Wade and husband Bobby of Hillsboro, Carolyn Jean and husband Sammy Johnson of Cleburne, Paula Ballard and husband Dennis of Hillsboro, and Paulette Bledsoe and husband Larry of Peoria; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

|Richard “Rick” Arnold Peterson, Jr.|
Richard “Rick” Arnold Peterson, Jr. age 58, of Gardendale, passed
away on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Medical Center Hospital. He
was born in Great Falls, Montana on August 13, 1954 to the late
Richard Arnold Peterson, Sr. and Darlene Addie (Sindt) Peterson.
Rick served 6 years in the Marine Corps and received an honorable
discharge. Years later, he took a mechanics course, because he
loved to tinker around with things, and had a talent for it. He was
a jack of all trades type of person.
Rick was a really good guy who loved to clown around. He would often pull a “Jethro Gibbs” by popping you in the back of the head. Often mischievous, he would at times arrange for the blame of his pranks to fall on others. He lost his hand in a sawmill accident and would tease little ones with the hook on his hand, that he called “Chief Charlie”. Rick was very good with his hands and enjoyed woodworking, making things like a bear coffee table and a Texas table. An adventurous man and an outdoorsman, originally being from Montana, Rick loved the mountains and liked to pan for gold and other treasures.
He is survived by one brother: Brian
Ray Peterson and wife Keryl of Cascade, MT; and two sisters:
Donna Lee Vandeman, and husband Art of Pasco, WA and Rebecca Jean
Hughes, and her husband Michael of Great Falls, MT. Rick was
especially fond of his niece, Sierra. He also had several
other nieces and nephews who cared for him very much. Rick a bit of
a loner, but he had no trouble making friends wherever he went.
In fact, he made many friends in the Odessa and Gardendale
area, whom he considered extended family, and ones that loved him
just as much. Some of the most important to him were the Millers,
McCollums, Brooks, and Rogers. He had many other friends and family
that will all miss him and his personality very much. His life
meant much to a lot of people.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister: Shirley Mae Peterson and brother: Dale Miles Peterson.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2013
at Mount Olive Christian Fellowship in Great Falls, Montana.

James “Jim” Roy Brown, Jr., age 66, of Hobbs, NM, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Lubbock Health Care Center in Lubbock, TX. He was born December 14, 1946 in Ft. Worth, TX to James Roy Brown, Sr. and Mary June (Holmes) Brown. He was a restaurant owner.
He is survived by his wife: Balita (Turner) Brown of Hobbs, NM; son: Charles Brown of Hobbs; two grandsons: Justin Brown of Cushin, OK and Colby Brown of Hobbs; and two great-grandsons.

|Levi Branden Decker|
Levi Branden Decker, age 30 of Odessa, lost his life in a tragic motorcycle accident on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. He was born in Kermit, TX on August 20, 1982 to William David Decker and Deborah Lue (Murphy) Decker. He was a very hard worker and worked as a roughneck.
Levi was a smart man, but fairly high strung. He was always a bit of a daredevil. When he was young, he jumped into the water without even knowing how to swim. He was very athletic and active. He never met a person he didn’t like and always made friends easily.
He is survived by his parents: William and Debbie Decker of Odessa; son: Brandon “Anthony” Decker of Snyder; daughters: Shastin Nicole Decker-Eckard and Alabama Decker-Eckard, both of Snyder; brothers: Gerald Wynn Decker of Odessa, and Marcus Decker of New York; and his sister: Shonda Reneé Decker Jacobs of Odessa.
Levi was preceded in death by one brother: William Sears Rogers Decker.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 31, 2013 at Peaceful Garden of Ector County Cemetery. Memorial services will follow at 4:00 pm Friday, May 31, 2013 at AmVets Post 007, 300 E. VFW Lane, Odessa, officiated by Pastor Wade Schultz.

Harland Lonny Seals, age 63, of Midland, passed from this life on May 23, 2013 at his home. He was born April 13, 1950 in San Angelo, TX to the late Marvin and Gracie (Fair) Seals. He was a construction worker and a US Army veteran.
Lonny is survived by his wife, Gail (Owings) Seals of Midland and his loving family.
