Bob Boss, 67, of Odessa, passed away at Crane Nursing home in Crane, TX on Thursday, February 13, 2014. Bob was born to Curtis Olvin Boss and Ruth Blanche (Wilfong) Boss in Lamesa, Texas on April 4, 1946.
Bob was a hard worker and worked for Red Lobster for 19 years. He enjoyed fishing and playing games on his computer. Bob will be missed.
Those left to cherish his memories are his two brothers: Sam Boss and wife Deborah Kay of Odessa, and Johnny Boss of Longview Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Curtis and Ruth Boss.

Victor Manuel Gonzalez, age 61, of Odessa passed away on February 13, 2014 at Hospice House in Odessa. Victor was born to Julio Gonzalez and Raquel (Berthaud) Gonzalez in Mexico. They preceded him in death. He did pipeline work in the oilfield.
Victor loved to listen to music and dance. He was a jokester who would play pranks and was known to tell white lies now and then. He adored and loved his kids and always enjoyed babies. Victor liked to grill and enjoyed a good steak. He also loved to eat beans.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife: Naomi Martinez of Snyder; sons: Victor T. Gonzales of El Paso and Joe Angel Gonzalez of Snyder; daughter: Juanita Gonzalez of Snyder; sisters: Rosa Gonzalez and Maria Viagrana, both of Juarez, Mexico and Raquel Olandez of Odessa.
Visitation will be held at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 15, 2014 through Monday, February 18, 2014. Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the funeral home.

Ramon F. Mendoza and Carmen (Hernandez) Mendoza, forever Valentines that journeyed together through life starting with their marriage on November 25, 1965 in Pecos, TX and continuing through their final trip together to Heaven on Friday, February 14, 2014.
Ramon was born in Candelaria, TX on May 7, 1938 to the late Jose and Dominga (Flores) Mendoza. He worked in construction. Carmen was born to the late Cecilio and Roberta (Rey) Hernandez in La Esmeralda, Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico on July 8, 1941. They were Catholic.
Ramon was a real life cowboy and Carmen was an amazing cook. Ramon and Carmen were loving and caring people, who were inseparable to the end and an example to their family of unconditional love. Family was very important to them and they taught their children good morals and to always stick together. Their love was the firm foundation their family was built upon and they adored their grandchildren. They loved music and dancing, liked animals, and always welcomed people into their home. Bingo was their passion.
Both are survived by their loving sons: Ramon Mendoza Jr. and wife Annabell and Rene Mendoza and wife Patricia, all of Odessa; six loving daughters: Senaida H. Bailon and husband Bernardino of Mesquite, Elida Hernandez and husband Gerardo, Cruz A. Hernandez, Maria Lujan and husband Martin, and Virginia Abalos and husband George, all of Odessa, and Janet Mendoza and husband John Paul Hernandez of Round Rock; twenty-six grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Ramon and Carmen are also survived by their siblings. Ramonís brothers are: Ruben Mendoza of Morton, Jose Mendoza, Jr. of Pecos, and Israel Valles of Dallas and two sisters: Alicia Trujillo and Rosa Valles, both of Pecos. Carmen has two brothers: Manuel Hernandez and Agustin Hernandez, both of Odessa and two sisters: Lilia Martinez and Maria Aguirre.
In addition to their parents, Carmenís sister: Eloisa Rios and brother: Eucebio Hernandez, precede them in death.
Rosary will be recited at Acres West Funeral Chapel at 7:00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 18 and 19, 2014. Funeral mass will be 10:00 am Thursday, February 20, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, officiated by Fr. Frank Chavez. Interment will follow at Peaceful Garden of Ector County Cemetery. Ashley Marie Huerta, age 17, of Odessa, passed from this life on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at her Odessa home. She was born in Odessa on May 1, 1996 to Samuel Esgar Polvon and Delma Huerta. She was a Permian High School senior.
Ashley was smart girl and a good student. She worked at Rosaís and was putting away money to help pay for her college. Very independent, she had also paid for her car and her own senior pictures. Although she was very outgoing and hoped to be famous someday, she was a very private person who was only very close to a few special friends. She was a jokester who could keep everyone laughing with her attitudes and funny facial expressions. Her lively and uplifting presence will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother and step-father: Delma Huerta and Sergio Barron; father: Samuel Polvon; grandparents: Roberto and Letty Huerta and Rosa Maria Hernandez; brother: Carlos Levario; and two sisters: Jaquelin Levario and Valeria Huerta, all of Odessa. She is also survived by her loving aunts, uncles, and cousins: Uncle Edgar Huerta and wife Norma Gomez; Aunt Vilma Huerta; cousins: Aileen Gomez, Josie Huerta, Andy Huerta, Vianney Huerta, Destiny Huerta, Isaac Huerta, Penelope Polvon and Eli Polvon.

Celestino Adame Galvan Sr., 67, was called to Heaven on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. Celestino was born to the late Francisco and Aurelia (Adame) Galvan on July 23, 1946 in Durango, Mexico. He married Elsa Rodriguez on December 17, 1970 in AcuŮa, Mexico. Celestino worked as a welder in the oilfield.
Celestino could be stubborn at times, but had a big heart. He always helped others before helping himself. Celestino was a good husband, friend, grandfather and uncle. He liked to clown around and make others laugh. Celestino was one of a kind person. Celestino kept his faith and never gave up.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Ė the love of his life: Elsa Galvan of Odessa, son: Celestino Galvan, Jr. of AcuŮa, Mexico, daughters: Alyssa Resendez and husband Arnulfo of Lakeland, FL, Milagros Galvan of Odessa, brother: Pilo Galvan and wife Antonia of Del Rio, sisters: Zoila Corona and husband Roberto of Del Rio, Silvia Garcia and husband Aaron, Alma Escajeda and husband Ruben, all of Irving, and Elodia Veliz and husband Vicente of Coyame, MX; and 8 grandchildren.

Crane, TX. She was born on May 16, 1931 in Tallulah, LA to the late
Ellis and Maggie (Boone) Davis.
She is survived by her sister: Jennie Solomon of Odessa.

Richard Dale McDougle, age 69, a retired wireline operator, was
promoted to glory Sunday, February 23, 2014. He took the hand of
Jesus, with his loving wife, Joyce, at his side. Richard was born
December 9, 1944 to Robert Henry and Gladys Lee (Huxford) McDougle
in Stephenville, TX.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Services will be Friday, February 28, 2014 at Acres West Funeral Chapel with Pastor Renee Phillips officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Richard was a member of River of Hope Christian Fellowship Church. He loved serving the Lord and reading his Bible. Richardís favorite pastime was watching Westerns and wrestling on TV. He loved fishing with his best friend, Allen Posey.
Richard married Paulette Burnett December 3, 1965. They were married 41 years and had two sons, Brian and Robby. Richardís family was his pride and joy. Paulette and his boys were his best friends. Paulette went home to Jesus on January 17, 2006.
Richard attended Ector High School. He served with the United States Navy which took him to Okinawa, Japan. He worked many years for Kuykendall Wireline Services. He was employed by ARC Pressured Data, Inc. when he retired.
Richard Dale married Joyce Gay (Riggs) Flowers on August 29, 2009. This was true love story brought together by God. Paulette was a twin. Joyce is a twin. Joyce was also married 41 years to her husband, Warren Dale Flowers, Sr., before he went home to heaven. Richard and Joyce had so much in common, they couldnít help but fall in love. Joyce led Richard to the Lord. Their love grew each day. They made each other very happy. Joyce doesnít care for Chinese food, so when Richard wanted Chinese food, Joyce would send Richard to get Brian and off they would go, without Joyce, to the Chinese restaurant. When Joyce met Richard, he loved going to Pojoís Restaurant. This was not one of Joyceís favorite places, so Richard quit going. Richard was alone and lonely until Joyce brought sunshine and great happiness back into his life. She was the smile on his face.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Gladys McDougle, his wife: Paulette McDougle, his three sisters: Marie Reeder, Bobbie Evans-Newby and Barbara Archer, and his best friend: Allen Posey.
He is survived by his wife: Joyce McDougle and his son: Brian McDougle, both of Odessa; son: Robby McDougle and his wife Lori of Midland, son: Warren Flowers, Jr. and his wife Kerris, their son Trey and daughter Katie, of Odessa; daughter: Tammy Flowers Miller and her husband Brad, their daughters Stephanie and Tiffany, and great-grandson Fisher of Midland; granddaughter: Lainey McDougle, grandson: Landon McDougle, and great-grandson Evan McDougle, of Odessa. He is also survived by four nieces he loved like daughters: Carolyn Hicks of Sealy, TX, Brenda King of Denver, CO, Jan Evans Smith of Aztec, NM, and Linda Hall of Odessa; and his sister-in-law: Claudette Johnston of Odessa.
Honorary pallbearer will be Trey Flowers of Odessa. Pallbearers are Warren Flowers, Jr. and Michael Hall of Odessa, Brad Miller and Cory Racca of Midland, Mike Hicks of Sealy, TX, and Mike McCrary of Andrews.

Robert Michael Thompson, age 70, passed from
this life on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Medical Center Hospital.
He was born in Woodbury, Tennessee on July 4, 1943 to Robert
Jennings Brian Thompson and Flora Edna (Robertson) Thompson.
He graduated from Liberty High School in Liberty, TN. He attended Tennessee Tech College in Cookville, TN. Robert served as a radar repairman in the US Air Force-reg AF. After meeting Norma, they married and he settled here in Odessa. Robert was a Jack of all trades. He worked for General Tire, later known as Dynagen, and then later known as Ameripol Synpol for over 20 plus years. He retired after working for The City of Odessa. Robert was a member of the West Texas Gem and Mineral Society, The Prospectors Club, and The Woodmen of the World Life Society.
Those left to cherish his love and memory include his son, Jimmy Michael Thompson of Louisville, KY; four daughters, Chantal Yvette Williamson and Amy Ruth Garcia of Odessa, TX, Sarah Elizabeth Thompson of Grandfalls, TX, and Danielle Lynette Thompson of Seminole, TX; one sister, Ruth Shalon White of Dowelltown, TN; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren with one on the way.

Catherine Elaine Healer, aged 63, of Odessa,
passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014. She was born on Tuesday,
February 20, 1951 in Bowie, TX, to Bobby Roy and Ruth Nadine
(Masters) Healer. After high school graduation, Catherine attended
Cosmetology school. She was the night manager for Pojoís in her

She always had a helping hand for anybody and everybody who needed any help. She also enjoyed going to the game rooms and playing Bingo. Catherine loved her dog, Chloe, and she supported everyone who needed it during hard times.
Catherine was preceded in death by one grandchild, Bradee Healer, and by her parents.
