Jimmy Wayne Wright, age 69, of Odessa, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Midland Memorial Hospital. He was born in Brownfield, TX on December 28, 1944 to the late Wilford Cristiansen Wright and Thelma Lucille (Schmittler) Wright. Jimmy married Sharon Jones in Odessa in May of 1972 and they spent the next 43 years together. He was a car and motorcycle restoration specialist and a businessman.
Jimmy loved old cars and Harleys and riding was a favorite pastime. He was an unforgettable man, very smart and with a great sense of humor. He loved his family with all of his heart.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife: Sharon Wright of Odessa, TX; sons: Daryl Wright of Odessa, TX and Richard Wright of Quitman, TX; brothers: Richard Wright and wife Elura of Knickerbocker, TX and Leland Wright and wife Pat of Robstown, TX; numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His parents, one son: Jamie, two daughters: Michelle and Misty, and his beloved weimaraner, Sukie, precede him in death.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am Wednesday,
March 19, 2014 at Peaceful Garden Section of Ector County Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy and Jeffery Allen, Skyler Conklin,
A.J. Powell, Chris Wright, J.B. Kingston.
Honorary pallbearer will be John Brock.

Christo Sugunfen, age 29, of Odessa, passed from this life on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. Christo was born to Jesse Sugunfen and Gabriela Tinmed on July 4, 1984 in Micronesia. Christo worked at a slingshot in the oilfield.
Christo was an outgoing and happy man, even while in pain. Cristo once said “God gave him a big heart for a reason, not just because he was sick.” Christo loved the band “Intocable” and knew every song by heart but never knew what they were singing about. He enjoyed playing the keyboard and loved music. He was a Rams fan and Christo loved Menudo with pigs feet and Arroz Con Leche “Rice Pudding”. He was an easy going guy who hated confrontation. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, uncle and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife: Roxanne Sugunfen of Odessa; one daughter: Abryal Sugunfen of Odessa; three brothers: Joseph Meeyog, Peter Sugoy and Peter Gufeymaw, all of Odessa; two sisters: Rosa Noboliy of Guam and Rosa Salas of Odessa. He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews spread across Micronesia and his first great niece: Iliana “Fatty Cakes” whom he loved dearly.
He is preceded in death by his son: Keanu Rae Sugunfen, and his parents: Jesse Sugunfen and Gabriela Tinmed.
A rosary will be said at 7:00 pm Monday, March 24, 2014 at Acres West 24 Hr. Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiated by Father Santiago Uydayar. Linda Lou Bullard, 58, passed away at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, on March 20, 2014. Linda was born to Bobie Bullard and Almeta Jody Wall in El Paso, TX on August 6, 1955. She was the owner manager of Jerry’s Burgers, Circle J. Trading Post and Western Burgers.
Fifteen years ago, Linda and Carl first met across the alley from each other, she was leaving Western Burger and he was standing in his backyard. She adored her grandbaby Iris and Linda's pet name for her was “Pumpkin”. Linda loved to cook, and when asked how she was feeling, she would always reply with a smile, “I’m Just Peachy” or “Well, I feel with my fingers”.
Linda was a good listener with a great ear, but was very honest (at times brutally honest). She was Toby’s best friend and a favorite sister, he would always say she was the hardest working, toughest woman he knew. She taught Carl a lot about life, living and loving. Linda was Carl’s best friend, his honey; they had the same likes such as Sci-Fi movies and classic Rock ‘n Roll music.
Those left to cherish her love and memories are her loving husband of 15 years: Carl Little, son: Bobby Little and wife Kelly of Prosper, TX, daughter: Shanae Thompson of Odessa; brothers: Toby Bullard and wife Norma and Jerry Bullard, all of Odessa, sisters: Debbie Pachall and husband Stanley of Brownwood and Jaylina Bullard of Odessa; grandchildren: Iris Thompson of Odessa, and Carson Little and Ryan Little of Prosper.Funeral Services will be held at Acres West Funeral Chapel, on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 2:00 pm., officiated by Clydel Chapman. Minnie “Lorene” Wood, 91, of Odessa, was sent to Heaven in Midland on March 21, 2014. Lorene was born to John Oliver Jones and Ida Lavinia Frazier in Rochester, Texas on November 16, 1922. She married her best friend and love of her life H.F. Wood on August 20, 1941 in Bakersfield, California. She enjoyed working in sales at J.C. Penney’s, Montgomery Ward and Dillard’s Department Stores.
Lorene was a woman of numerous sayings. She always had a smile on her face and never had any enemies or animosity. She loved her family and loved family gatherings, and always cooked Sunday lunch and no matter how many guests arrived, everyone got fed, and all were welcome. Lorene loved to sing gospel music. She often sang “Old Rugged Cross” while doing chores. She always loved to have a clean house but made one exception; she allowed Paul to build a race car engine on the kitchen floor. Lorene loved rocking babies, especially her grandkids. She will be greatly missed and will always be loved. All who were in her life, and met her, are very blessed to have known her.
Those left to cherish her memories are her two sons: David Wood and wife Debbie and Paul Wood and wife Katrina, all of Odessa; two daughters: Rita Abel and husband J.D of Odessa and Carolyn Bevell of Temecula, California; one brother: Donald Ray Jones and wife Claudine of Buffalo Gap, Texas; two sisters: Mattie White of Haskell, Texas and Ruth Sellers of Odessa; ten grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Lorene is preceded in death by her Best Friend and Love of her life, her husband, H.F. Wood, numerous brother and sisters, and three grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Acres West Funeral Chapel in Odessa, officiated by Jimmy Braswell. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Section of Ector County Cemetery. Family visitation will take place at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 5 - 7 p.m.

Charlene Jordan, 45, of Odessa passed away peacefully at Hospice House in Odessa. Charlene was born to Charles Smith and Alice (Westbrook) Fitch in Odessa on July 29, 1968. Charlene worked as a house cleaner until she got ill.
Charlene loved rock music especially the 80’s era. She was the youngest of five sisters and was very spoiled by her mom. Charlene loved her grandbaby Isabella. She was a loving mother and a great cook. She loved to be a stay at home mom. Charlene was God fearing woman.

Andy King, age 62, of Odessa, passed from this life on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Hospice House of Odessa. He was born in Muleshoe, TX on March 29, 1951 to the late Harold “H. D.” King and Hope W. (McClain) King. He was a mechanic at a bowling alley.
Andy loved to fish, go bowling, and play chess. He also enjoyed shooting pool and watching NASCAR. He had moved to Florida, living there for eleven years. Knowing that he was not long for this world, he moved back to Odessa in January so that he could be close to family and enjoy time with his children and grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son: Phil King of Houston; daughter: Saleana Salge and husband Woody and Corinna Thompson and husband Jeff, all of Odessa; brother: Max King and wife Pat of Muleshoe; sister: Jeannie King of Ruidoso, NM; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, his wife: Lucky King, precedes him in death.

Jesus Hernandez Sanchez, age 60, of Odessa, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Odessa. He was born in Chihuahua, CH, Mexico on August 25, 1953 to Guillermina (Hernandez) Sanchez and the late Jesus Sanchez. He was a pipe treater for Interstate Treating, Inc. He was Catholic.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother: Guillermina Hernandez Sanchez of Chihuahua, CH, Mexico; son: Alan Sanchez of Odessa; three brothers: Jaime Sanchez, Jorge Sanchez, and Javier Sanchez, all of Chihuahua, CH, Mexico; two sisters: Guillermina Sanchez and Sandra Sanchez, both of Chihuahua, CH, Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece: Myriam Perez.

Michael James Prince was born on May 25, 1957 in Roswell, NM to Barbara L. and Nick James Prince. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 25, 2014 at Medical Center Hospital. He was a long time resident of Odessa, TX after moving here from Carlsbad, NM. He is loved and will be missed.
He is survived by his mother: Barbara L. Reed; one son: Jonathan Andrew Prince; one sister: Barbara Turner and husband Richard; one brother: Robert Prince and wife Jackie, all of Odessa; uncle: Lonnie Wilson of Carlsbad, NM; and many nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his father: Nick Prince; step-father: Reaford Reed; brother: Alan Lee Prince; and grandparents: Alonzo and Virginia Wilson.
Graveside Memorial services will be Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Sunset Gardens in Carlsbad, NM, officiated by William Prince. Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and Crematory.

|David Harrell Fraley "Booger Red"|
David Harrell Fraley, also known as “Booger Red”, age 67, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Hospice House of Odessa. David was born in Snyder, TX on February 18, 1947 to the late Clyde Leslie Fraley and Laura Gertrude (Shell) Fraley.
Booger Red worked as a tool pusher in the oilfield for Robinson Drilling and had over 50 years of oilfield experience. In his resume, he describes working on land rigs, off shore rigs, diesel and electric rigs, small rigs, big rigs, scope ups, single rigs and double rigs. He drilled with gas, air, mud, and oil mud making little holes, big holes, shallow holes, and deep holes – even drilling for atomic bombs and 120 in mine shaft holes coring for uranium… “and if they put a rig on the moon I will be there for after all, I am the Legend.”
David is survived by his wife Cathy Fraley of Odessa; his three girls: Angela Phillips and husband Donald of Odessa, Shannah Salmons and husband Virgil of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, and Terra Young of Odessa; six brothers: Norman Fraley of Hermleigh, TX, Neil Fraley of Odessa, Morris Fraley and wife Bonnie of Big Spring, Harold Fraley of Jasper, Dean Fraley of Hobbs, NM, and Mackey Fraley and wife Melinda of Mullin; sister: Gayle Burleson and husband Carl of Snyder; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
