|David Paul Luna|
David Paul Luna, age 26, of Odessa, passed away on May 2, 2014 in Odessa. He was born in Dallas on Tuesday, September 8, 1987 to Sandy Luna. He worked on a pulling unit for Falcon Energy.
David was very outgoing and was considered a huge joker. He had a dry sense of humor, extremely sarcastic, which everybody thought was hilarious. He was always making people laugh. David was an awfully affectionate man, as well as a great father. He would do everything in his power for his baby girl, who he adored and called “Mamas”. He was also a phenomenal uncle. Very giving and caring, he went out of his way to help others as much possible. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. David loved to play volleyball and you could always find him at the park doing just that. He also enjoyed cooking on the grill, and he did so on a weekly basis.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his wife Jessica Bueno-Luna and daughter Mariela Jaslene Luna of Odessa; his mother and father Sandy Luna and Armando Llamas, both of Odessa; his mother and father-in-law Leacema and Jesus Bueno of Odessa; brother Jessy Velasquez and wife Danielle of Odessa; sisters Nikki Luna and partner Michael Wildemann of Dallas, and Amanda Llamas of Odessa; aunts Linda Rascon of Odessa, Pat Seeley and husband Norm of Odessa, Susie Brazil and husband Gerald of Odessa, and Melinda Hester of Midland; uncles George Hester and wife Tammy of Odessa, Mark Hester of Odessa, and Ralph Hester, Johnny Hester, and Ronnie Hester, all of Odessa; nieces Laney Thatcher and Savannah Valasquez; and nephew Caleb Thatcher.
A Rosary is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 7 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel, 8115 W University Blvd. Odessa. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Life Church at 2900 Kermit Hwy, officiated by Pastor Don Haislett. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens of Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Addison Jeanell Anderson, an infant, of Andrews, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 in Odessa. Addison was born to Derrick and Carol Ann Anderson on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Odessa Regional Medical Center.
Survivors are her parents: Derrick and Carol Ann Anderson of Andrews, brother: Jonathon Anderson of Andrews; paternal grandparents: Carrie Anderson of Andrews and Terry Anderson of Sundown, Texas; and maternal grandparents: Patricia and Sonny Hester of Odessa.
Services will be held at a later date.

Elauterio Fierro Ramos, 73, of Odessa was called to heaven on Saturday, May 3, 2014 in Odessa. Elauterio was born to Margarito Ramos and Juliana (Fierro) Ramos in Ojinaga, Mexico on February 20, 1941. Elauterio worked as a sandblaster. He was married to Guadalupe Lopez for 54 years.
Elauterio loved to get together with his sons, son-in-laws and sometimes all of his daughters to play poker. He loved music and dancing. Elauterio was a sandblaster for more than 30 years and enjoyed talking about his job because he took pride in what he did.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of over 54 years Guadalupe Lopez Ramos of Odessa, sons: Jaime Ramos and wife Carmen Ramos, Armando Ramos and wife Bernice Ramos all of Odessa, daughters: Silvia Benavides and husband Martin Benavides, Irma Rodriguez and husband Oscar Rodriguez, Alma Sanchez and husband Jimmy Sanchez all of Odessa, brothers: Roman Ramos of Atascadero, CA, Aurelio Ramos of Templeton, CA, Gregorio Ramos of Atascadero, CA, Juan Ramos of Paso Robles, CA, and Ramon Ramos of Odessa, sisters: Martina Montanez of Dallas and Victoria Lujan of Fort Davis, 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

|Luis Mendoza Torres|
Luis Mendoza Torres, 80, of Odessa passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, May 4, 2014. Luis was born to Luis Torres Sr. and Isabel (Mendoza) Torres on January 25, 1934 in San Juan de Sabina, Coahuila, Mexico. Luis married Andrea Reyes in 1965 at Piedras Negras. He worked for Longhorn as a Janitor.
Luis loved to play and joke around with his nieces and nephews. His dog “Bosho” was his pride and joy. Luis loved to call the radio station “La Ley” and talk to the DJ Luis Carlos. He had a passion for food and was always eating. Luis was very sociable and helped anyone and everyone. He was a very serviceable man.
Survivors are his wife of 49 years: Andrea Reyes Torres, sisters: Enedina Torres of San Angelo and Irene Torres of Mexico, four nieces and three nephews.
A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday May 7, 2014 at Acres West Funeral Chapel at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Father Frank Chavez officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Section of Ector County Cemetery.

Clinton L. Howard IV, age 34, of Odessa, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Andrews, TX on May 14, 1979 to Clinton L. Howard III and Rebecca Jane (Brill) Howard. He worked in the oilfield.
He is survived by his parents: Clinton L. Howard III and Rebecca Howard of Odessa; brother: Carl Howard of Odessa; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

|Michael Del "Mike" McClure|
Michael Del McClure was born December 11, 1959 in Electra, TX to Don E. McClure and Glenda (Cooper) McClure. He passed from this life on May 7, 2014 peacefully at his home in Odessa in his sleep.
Mike accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age at First Baptist Church of Snyder, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father: Don E. McClure and his grandparents, all of whom are welcoming him now.
He is survived by his wife: Linda McClure, daughter: Latasha Clemons and husband Joshua, granddaughter: Rosie, grandson: Michael, and son: Chris Powell, all of Odessa. He is also survived by his daughter: Brandy Brown and husband Billy, four grandsons: Christian, Joshua, Seth and William of Keller, TX, daughter: Michelle Beaty and husband Scott, and granddaughter: Ella Grace of Abilene, mother: Glenda McClure Smith and husband Carey of San Angelo, brother: Steven Don McClure of San Angelo, and four nephews who loved him dearly.
There is now a big hole in our hearts. Mike was a loving husband, father, and Papaw, son, brother, and uncle. He never spoke an unkind word about another person. A dependable and hard working man, he took his job seriously. He was employed at H & S Valve, Inc.
Funeral services will be at Acres West Funeral Chapel at 10:00 am Saturday, officiated by Calvin Knighten. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
|Wilma Petit Sanders|
Wilma Petit Sanders, age 79, of Blackwell, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at her home. She was born in Antelope, TX on August 9, 1934 to the late James Henry and Millie Lee (Ensey) Petit. Wilma married B. J. Sanders in Wichita Falls on June 20, 1953, and they raised four children.
Wilma enjoyed fishing and greatly enjoyed retirement at the lake. She was a fast pitch softball pitcher in a women’s league. She was also a great cook and liked to work word puzzles.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband: B. J. Sanders of Blackwell, TX; son: James D. Sanders and wife Gayla of Odessa; daughters: Donna Sanders and Carol Parker, both of Odessa; sister: Vera Harrelson of Archer City; six grandchildren: Michel Weddle, Jeff Weddle, Matthew Parker, Dawson and Meagan Parker, Duston Parker, and Allen and Brittany Sanders; and two great-grandchildren: Haiden Parker and Kason Parker. She also leaves behind her beloved companion, Chihuahua Pomeranian mix, Mitzy.
Her parents, her daughter: Janette Weddle, four brothers and three sisters, precede her to her Heavenly home.
A celebration of Wilma’s life will be at First Baptist Church, 101 N. Blanco, Blackwell, TX on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 4 pm. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Odessa and condolences may be sent to the family online at acreswestfuneral.com.

Eugene Earvin “Gene” Welch, age 68, of Odessa, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Sienna Nursing and Rehabilitation in Odessa. He was born in Smithville, TX on August 8, 1945 to the late Robert and Irene (Crisel) Welch. He was a repairman. He was Baptist.

Margaret Ann Bruton, age 76, of Odessa, passed from this life on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Nor-Lea Hospital in Lovington, NM. She was born in Moody, TX on March 22, 1938 to the late Forest and Margaret Ozella (Woods) Lee. She married Nelson Logan “Mick” Bruton in Lamesa, TX on May 11, 1957. She was a homemaker, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her daughters: Debra Daley of Odessa, Candie Fountain of Lovington, NM, Sylvia Alves of Hobbs, NM, and Gina Sutton of Finchville, KY; brother: M.C. Lee of Lamesa; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Her parents, her husband: Mick Bruton; son: Wesley E. O’Neill; three brothers: Ricky Charles Lee, Bobby Earl Lee, and Forest Lee; and her sister: Sandra Whittaker, precede her in death.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am Monday, May 12, 2014 at Lamesa Memorial Park in Lamesa, TX where Margaret will be laid to rest with Mick. |James Michael McInnis|
James Michael McInnis, loving husband, father, uncle, and friend went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 8, 2014 at 3:30pm. He was surrounded by his wife and daughters who cared for him till the very end. James was a very devoted provider for his wife, Sally McInnis, and children, Brenda McInnis Sharp and Jessica McInnis Tucker. He demonstrated all his life that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. Though no family is perfect, and though no person is perfect, James McInnis became complete and perfect in Christ on April 29, 2014 at 12:30 pm by saying a prayer with his brother, Earl McInnis. (Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ – and – 2 Corinthians 12:9-11 “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
James was born in Jacksonville, FL on March 1, 1944 to Emmit Alford McInnis and Amy Bell (Turnage) McInnis. James’ passion was to work and be a provider. If he wasn’t working, he was always tinkering with mechanical things. He loved to build and invent contraptions that aided him in all aspects of life and work. James served in the US Navy from 1962-1967. He worked for the following companies as an outstanding mechanic, analyst, and consultant: Waukesha Pearce, Enerflex, Universal Compression Inc., and Valerus. He was also self-employed for a number of years doing the same type of work.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife: Sally McInnis of Odessa; daughters: Brenda McInnis Sharp of Roby, TX and her children: Kailey and Casey Sharp, and Jessica McInnis Tucker of Springfield, VA and her children: Courtney and Kelsey McInnis; and three brothers: Emmett Earl McInnis and his wife of Breaux Bridge, LA, Charles McInnis and his wife of Thibodeaux, LA, and George McInnis and his wife of Poplarville, MS.
His parents, one grandson: Nicholas McInnis, and his sister: Betty Jean McInnis Saddler, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, 8115 W. University Blvd. Odessa, TX, officiated by Chaplain Larry Hood.
