Pablo Perez Rodriguez, age 100, of Presidio, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 at University Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born in Haciendita, TX on September 11, 1914 to the late Marcial and Santos (Perez) Rodriguez. He was a farmer.
He is survived by two sons: Moises T. Rodriguez of Odessa and Marcial Rodriguez of Presidio; daughter: Oralia R. Olivas of Presidio; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren and twelve great-great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, four sisters, and one daughter: Olga R. Nunez.
Funeral services will be a later date in Cañada Ancha, Chihuahua, Mexico. Burial will follow at Pantéon Cañada Ancha. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel in Odessa and Funeraria de Valle in Ojinaga.
|Terry Lynn Clower|
Terry Lynn Clower, 57, of Odessa, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 in Odessa. He was born in Knox City, TX on Thursday, August 29, 1957 to Thomas Jefferson Clower and Shirley Jo (Wells) Attaway. Terry worked in the oilfield on the rigs. He married the love of his life, Debrah, on November 26, 1996 in Odessa.
Terry was a man of many pleasures. He was an avid fan of old time western tv shows, he loved killing time watching them. Terry enjoyed working with his hands and he could be found tinkering around on his truck often. He was a huge Elvis fan, and he was infamous for his “Elvis sideburns”. Terry loved to cook all kinds of great meals, and he especially loved consuming his masterpieces. He was a giver and he always put his family’s needs and wants before his own. Terry was a wonderful man, and he will be loved and missed by all who knew him, especially his family.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are wife Debrah (Cornwell) Clower; sons Ben and wife April Morgan of Houston, Jeff and wife Amanda Clower of Odessa, and Zachary Cornwell of Odessa; brothers Walt and wife Lisa Clower of Monahans, and James and Gaylon Clower, both of Pittsburg, TX; grandchildren Zalie James of Odessa, and Brandon and Ian Morgan, both of Houston.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Jefferson Clower and Shirley Jo (Wells) Attaway.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 2, 2015 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, from 9 am to 9 pm. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
Heaven Swanson, an infant, came to this earth
and returned to Heaven on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Odessa
Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of Cory Dewayne
Swanson and Nicoshia Sharee Gates.

|George Edward “Eddie” Chandler|
George Edward “Eddie” Chandler, 61, from Odessa, Texas, was born July 1, 1953 in Abilene, Texas to Roy Don and Virgie Bernice Chandler. Eddie stepped into his eternal life with the Lord December 31, 2014.
There will be open visitation in Odessa will be on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Acres West Funeral Chapel from 1:00 to 9:00 pm and all day Monday. Visitation in Eastland, Texas will be at Harmony Baptist Church on County Road 334 on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Harpersville Cemetery near Breckenridge, Texas officiated by Erron Mercer.
Eddie had been in a coma for 26 years following a motorcycle accident in 1988. His sister, Barbara “Babs” Nance, was his caregiver for all that time. Eddie was a real fighter and a very strong man. Eddie was all about enjoying life. He was always up for a good practical joke or anything that would be fun. He loved making memories with his family. Eddie worked as a truck driver up until the accident. He was a hard worker who took good care of his family and loved his children very much. Eddie will be greatly missed.
Eddie is survived by one daughter: Sonia Mercer and husband Erron of Wheeler, Texas; three sons: Jerry Chandler and wife Velinda of Odessa, Texas, Philip Chandler and wife Amanda of Shamrock, Texas, and Vernon Ellis of Odessa, Texas; seven grandchildren; three sisters: Barbara Nance, Glenda Parshall and husband Ted, and Linda Edwards, all of Odessa, Texas; two brothers: Cole Chandler and wife Chrystal of Odessa, Texas and Roy Chandler of San Angelo, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Rebecca Chandler; father: Roy Don Chandler; mother: Virgie Bernice (Clary) Chandler; sister: Brenda Kay Kenney Brych; nephew: Roger Rogers; and nieces: Sandy Nance and Kaitlen Parker.

Christopher Barrientes, 40, of Odessa passed from this life December 31, 2014. He was born August 13, 1974 in Denver City to Margarita Rodriguez and the late Erasmo Barrientes. Chris married Angie Fletcher, June 9th 2003.
Chris was a family man. He was the best Daddy a kid could ever ask for. He was so patient with his children. His favorite pastimes as a child were fishing, hunting and camping. Being the big brother was important to him. He loved his siblings. He was very protective of his sisters and sisters-in-law. Chris had the biggest heart of anyone you knew. He was a handy man and would never say “No” when someone needed a helping hand. A happy guy, you could always count on Chris to make you laugh. Chris enjoyed music and listened to all kinds from Country and Tejano to Rap.
He is preceded in death by his father: Erasmo Barrientes, his maternal grandparents: Isabel and Aurelio Rodriguez and his paternal grandmother: Celia Barrientes.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife: Angie Fletcher Barrientes; his mother: Margarita Rodriguez; paternal grandfather: Antonio Barrientes; sons: Rene, Brendan, and Aiden; and daughter: Ariana; twin brother: John; younger brother: Richard & wife Amber; and younger sisters: Stephanie and Dalylia; in-laws: Jim and Elizabeth Fletcher; sisters-in-law: Ada and Lauren; brothers-in-law: Philip and Eric; nieces: Ashtyn, Tristan, Elva, Lexie and Allirae; and nephews: Romie, Avie and JaKobie.

Timothy “Tim” Michael Ferguson, 54, of Odessa,
passed away at his residence in Odessa on Wednesday, December 31,
2014. He was born in Pontiac, MI on Wednesday, January 13, 1960 to
Michael D. and Mildred (Schwartz) Ferguson. Tim met the love of his
life, Janice Willockx, and married her in Clarkston, MI on April
28, 1984. Tim worked in the oilfield as a crane technician.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are wife Janice of Odessa; son Anthony Michael Ferguson of Midland; daughter Sarah Ferguson of Midland; brother Michael Duane Ferguson of Lake Anne, MI; sister Sandra Jo Smith of Waterford, MI; grandchildren Brennan Duane and Brayden Dakota Ferguson; and several nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Michael D. Ferguson and Mildred (Schwartz) Ferguson.
The family will receive friends and family at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 12 pm to 9 pm. Rosary will be recited later that day at 6 pm, and will be officiated by Deacon Manuel Luevano. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
