Joseph William Halfacre, better known as Dad, Papa, Brother, Joey and Uncle Joe, was born on January 29th, 1948.  Joe was a jack-of-all trades.   There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do!  In his younger days, he worked in the oilfield.  His true passion was breaking, buying, and selling horses, and he was good at it!  Some referred to him as “The Horse Whisperer.”  He also loved to go on adventures with his family and friends.  Joe did not like to sit around anywhere very long.  He was also an AMAZING storyteller and could make ANYONE laugh! His Facebook Profile included his Favorite Quote – which was, “Look out for #1, Don’t step in #2!”

Joe was preceded in death by his mom:  Alene Halfacre; his dad:  Norvel Junior Halfacre; and several other family members.  Joe is survived by three daughters:  Cindy Carol and husband Trent Tucker, Lisa Galindo and husband Pepé, and Amy Rubio-Smith; four granddaughters:  Alexis Galindo, Hope and Hannah Coles, and ZoeTucker; one brother:  Danny Halfacre and wife Joyce; and sisters:  Pamela Robins and husband Jerry; as well as Becky Walker and husband Danny.

Joe had a deep love for his family and never ended a conversation without telling you how much he loved you!  With that being said, we all love you, Joe, and can’t wait until the day we will all be reunited in Heaven together with you and our Lord!

A special family memorial was held at Antioch Christian Church on Thursday, July 2, 2015 to celebrate Joe and the legacy that he left.
