Nohemi Martinez Bello, age 53, of Odessa, passed from this life on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born in Jose de Reyes, Durango, Mexico on October 27, 1961 to Bonifacia (Arreola) Martinez and the late Guadalupe Martinez. Nohemi married Everardo Bello Sr. on Valentine’s Day of 1987 in Odessa. She worked as a prep cook in the restaurant business and was a member of the 1st United Pentecostal Church.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her husband of 27 years, Everardo Bello, Sr.; mother: Bonifacia Martinez; son: Everardo Bello Jr.; daughters: Natalie Chavarria and husband Alexander and Jasmine Bello; three brothers: Felix Martinez, Hector Martinez and Jorge Martinez; two sisters: Elizabeth Uribe and Olga Chapa; and three grandchildren: Adrian, Neveah, and Anabelle, all of Odessa.
A prayer service will be held at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel on Monday evening, July 6, 2015 at 7:00 pm. Funeral services are set for 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel, officiated by Pastor Pugh. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Section of Ector County Cemetery. Cheilla Reyes Perez, age 68, of Odessa, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She was born on Thursday, May 15, 1947 in Lamesa, Texas. She was a very talented artist.
Cheilla was a beautiful person, a devout Christian. She loved God and followed His word, loving everybody else as well. Cheilla was a very positive person and she was always willing to help out anybody who needed it. She was a very forgiving and loving woman. Cheilla worked at Sam’s Club for ten years, and her coworkers all called her “Angel Lady” because of the pins she made and wore to work every day. Cheilla loved everyone and animals. During her career as an artist, she painted portraits and murals. Her love was music and art. Cheilla’s babies were her flowers, gardens, and her animals. Cheilla will be loved and missed dearly.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are sons: Jesse Perez and wife Lisa, and Ricky Rivera, all of Odessa; daughter: Lisa Rivera of Odessa; sister: Christina Zavala, of Odessa; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Cheilla was preceded in death by brother: Johnny Martinez and sister: Belia Barela.

Dee Lynn (Honeycutt) Hodge, age 53, of Odessa, passed away on
Thursday, July 9, 2015 at her residence in Odessa. She was born on
Wednesday, March 21, 1962 to Jack Floyd and Wanda Ilene (Phillips)
Dee was the most selfless person around. She helped out anyone and everyone, with no problems doing it. Dee always put her kids first, as well as everyone else’s kids. She loved them all dearly; she was what one could consider the neighborhood mom. Dee enjoyed being outside, and she loved working in her yard. She loved butterflies and music very much. Dee was strong in her faith, and she showed that by attending several different churches. Dee fought a long, tiring battle with cancer for two years, fighting for her kids. She was a strong woman and she received prayers from all over the world.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are father: Jack Floyd Honeycutt and wife Nola of Longview, TX; son: Nicholas Jack Hodge of Odessa; daughter: Nerisa Chew of Odessa; sister: Leslie Mills of Houston; and grandchildren: Zoie Chew and Joe Chew, of Odessa.

Crystal Dawn Purdy, age 31, passed from this life on Monday, July 6, 2015 in Goldsmith, TX. She was born August 17, 1983 in Andrews, TX to Kim Ray Purdy and Anita (Hopkins) Offett.
Crystal was a loving, outgoing young woman who never met a stranger. She was loved by everyone. She was a hard worker and enjoyed spending her spare time taking long walks. She loved doing all the holiday cooking. Family was very important to her and she dreamed of having a big family. Crystal lived for her children and loved them dearly. She was a great mom and loved spending time doing arts and crafts with them. She will be missed dearly by all.

Felisa Ramos Fino, age 90, of Odessa, went to Heaven on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in the late afternoon at Odessa Regional Medical Center in Odessa. She was born on Monday, May 18, 1925 to the late Paublo and Maria (Pugar) de Ramos. Felisa met the love of her life, Albert, and married him in 1949 in Odessa.
Felisa was a wonderful wife, mother and friend. She adored her family. She was a good cook and a great housewife. Felisa will be loved and missed dearly.
Felisa was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband: Albert L. Fino of Odessa; daughter: Virginia de Nabarrete Fino; sons: George R. Fino, David R. Fino, Daniel R. Fino, and Albert R. Fino.

Donna Mae Meisenheimer-Jones, age 78, of Odessa, passed from this life on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born in Woodriver, Illinois on Saturday, December 5, 1936 to Earl Henry and Pearl (Earnhardt) Waltz. She was the owner and operator of the Hair Loft in Odessa.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Donald Irving Meisenheimer (in 1977); brothers: Junior Waltz, Jack Waltz, and Joe Waltz; and her sister: Judy Duncan.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son: Robert Meisenheimer of Odessa; daughter: Janice Meisenheimer-Hippchen of Cordova, TN; two sisters: Ellen Robins of Woodriver, IL and Jane Butcher of Bellville, IL; grandsons: Michael Meisenheimer and Steven Meisenheimer, both of Odessa and Jacob Neal of Cordova, TN; three great-grandchildren: Jimmy Choate, Landyn Meisenheimer, and Christopher Choate, all of Odessa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sylvia Louise Mitcham, age 72, of Odessa, passed from this life at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa on Monday, July 13, 2015. Sylvia was born in Seminole, TX on July 25, 1942 to the late Theron Curtis and Velma Lou (Wallace) Jackson. She graduated from Seminole High School and went on to become the manager of the ECISD cafeteria for over 20 years. She married P. A. Mitcham, Jr. in Seminole on May 29, 1960 and they were together 44 years, until separated by his death on June 12, 2004. They were active members of West Odessa First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Sylvia was preceded in death by her sister: Joyce Pratt and her nephew: James Pratt.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her sons: Jody Mitcham and wife Connie of Midland and Michael Mitcham of Odessa; daughter: Holli Mitcham of Odessa; four grandchildren: Vanessa Mitcham of Midland, Casie Mitcham of Jacksboro, and Abigail Floyd and Andrew Floyd, both of Midland; and her niece: Belinda Pratt of Durant, OK.

Dominga Salazar de Casillas, age 66, of Kermit, passed away in Odessa at Medical Center Hospital on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico on November 28, 1948 to the late Eleuterio Salazar Olivas and Escolastica (Soto) Salazar. A very loving woman, she worked as a nanny and caregiver as well as always watching out for everyone else.
Dominga enjoyed watching her novellas. Being at the ranch with animals and enjoying nature was a favorite pastime. She lived for her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son: Jose Casillas and wife Ashley of Odessa; four daughters: Mary Rodriguez and husband Lorenzo of Kermit, Alicia Cordova and husband Adam of Suisun, CA, Linda Galindo and Christina Casilla, both of Odessa; brothers: Isaac Salazar, Felipe Soto, and Abraham Salazar, all of Levelland; sisters: Pricilla Padilla of Chihuahua, Ana Luisa Burrola of Loma de Juarez, Abigail Burrola of Sundown and Yadira Franco of Lubbock; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Daryl Justin “D. J.” Gonzalez, age 26, of Snyder, passed away in Midland on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 due to a motorcycle accident. He was born in Odessa on February 19, 1989 to Eddie Ray Gonzales and Beth Ann (Curtis) Bustillos. D. J. married Eliza Marie Hernandez in Snyder on June 25, 2013. He worked in the oilfield.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his wife: Eliza Gonzalez of Snyder; mother: Beth Bustillos and husband Roland of Odessa; father: Eddie Gonzales of Spring Branch; three sons: Damien Gonzalez of Odessa, and Jeric and Jeramiah Medina, both of Snyder; three daughters: McKenna and Heaven Gonzalez, both of Odessa, and Angelina Gutierrez of Snyder; brother: Samuel Thomas of Seattle, WA; sisters: Amber Thomas and Danielle Smith, both of Odessa; and numerous extended family members as well as countless friends.

Renvy Lurline (Floyd) Evans, age 78, of Midland,
passed from this life at Midland Memorial Hospital on Saturday,
July 18, 2015. She was born in Fisher County, TX on December
10, 1936 to the late William Otto and Lady Eulalia (Justiss) Floyd.
Lurline married Bobbie Joe Evans at Greenwood Baptist Church in
Midland County on May 29, 1958. They raised four children and two
grandchildren and enjoyed 57 years together.
After both worked in Midland for several years as young adults, at
the same office building, they became reacquainted from school,
dated, married, and began a family. They switched to farming in
1961 and built their rural home of 50 years in 1964. When the
change was made from office work to farming, Bob asked Lurline what
she thought and she replied, "Whatever you decide, I'll go with
you." And they walked together side by side till her passing.
Behind every successful man is a good woman, and it certainly held
true for Lurline. She was a strong and capable partner and a
loving mother to her children and grandchildren.
Lurline enjoyed working outside, growing native flowers, trees, and
shrubs, and she was especially proud of her bluebonnets. She loved
to travel with her longtime dearest friend, Nita Lea, and even got
Bobbie to take her on some trips that weren't just for fishing.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are
her husband: Bob Evans of Midland; two sons: Joe Evans,
and Rex Evans and wife Anne, of Midland; two daughters: Linda
Rodriguez and husband Michael of Midland, and Renvy Smith and
husband Chris of Waxahachie, TX; and three grandchildren:
Jacob Evans, James Evans, and Garrett Evans, all of Midland.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two
brothers: Henry Floyd and Max Floyd, Sr.

Billye E. Smith, age 63, of Odessa, passed from this life Sunday, July 19, 2015 at her home. She was born in Floydada, TX on December 20, 1951 to the late Charles E. “Bud” Gee and Benny Jack (Goodson) Gee. Billye worked as a dispatcher and bookkeeper. From 2005 to 2009, she was a civil contractor for KBR in Iraq. Her most valued position, however, came after semi- retirement when she became home school teacher for her beloved granddaughter.
Billye married Michael Smith in Odessa on March 31, 1970.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband: Michael Smith of Odessa; son: Larry Smith of Odessa; daughters: Stacy Arnett of Lubbock, Michelle Evans of Odessa, and Jackie Smith-Wiscombe of Dallas; two brothers: Eddy Gee of Odessa and Glenn “Peewee” Gee of San Angelo; four grandchildren: Heath Evans, Morgan Evans, Kaushon Sharp, and John Sharp; four step-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.
