Roy R. "Skeeter" Little
June 30, 1965 to August 7, 2015
Roy R. Little II was born June 30, 1965 and his name was “Skeeter”. He lived as Skeeter.
He is preceded in death by his father, Roy R. Little and his mother, Jenaris Ann Hamilton.
He is survived by his only child: Austin Levi Little of Abilene, TX; his sister: Toni K. Bilbrey of Odessa, TX; and too many extended family members and friends to mention.
He was a mechanic for most of his life, even after the loss of both legs. He had a brief stint as a DJ in several clubs around the Texas area.
His son, Levi, was the light of his life. Skeeter lived life on his own terms and didn’t care what anyone thought. If you needed anything, he would give you the shirt off of his back. He was definitely a diamond in the rough.
He will be missed by many. He is whole and happy again.
Memorial services will be at 6:00 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Immediately after services, a party will be held at his home to celebrate his life.

Revice Bee (Gentry) Cooper, age 66, of Odessa, passed away on
Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She
was born on Wednesday, September 1, 1948 to the late William T. and
Minnie (Watkins) Gentry. She worked at the Ector County School
District in the cafeteria. She met the love of her life, Gary
Cooper, and joined him in matrimony on November 2, 1980 in Odessa.
Revice was a jack of all trades; anything she tried to do, she succeeded. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and sister, who enjoyed sewing and cooking, and generally just taking care of her family. She was a beautician, which she liked very much. Revice also enjoyed hanging wallpaper. She thought of her grandbabies as the light of her life; she was crazy about them. She had five dogs that she adored. Revice was the best thing to ever happen to Gary. She will be forever loved and missed.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her husband: Gary of Odessa; son: Jeff Hamlin and wife Christina of Ft. Worth; daughters: Melissa Stirman and husband Frank of Midland, and Kimberly Neal and husband Ronnie of Odessa; brothers: Gerald Gentry of Austin, Ronald Gentry of Odessa, Phillip Gentry of San Angelo; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother-in law, Larry Cooper and wife Debbie, and sister-in-law Sharon Tucker and husband Carl.
In addition to her parents, Revice was preceded in death by her brother Tyra Gentry, and her mother and father in-law Lonnie and Loudelle Cooper.
The family will receive friends at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, August 11, 2015 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, officiated by Pastor Terry Tamplin. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in the Monument Garden section. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Our little angel, Misael Bartolo Juarez, an infant, was born and whisked away to the arms of Jesus on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Odessa Regional Medical Center.
Those who will cherish his memory here on earth will be his loving parents: Ismael Duran Juarez Jr. and Eva Elizabeth (Rios) Juarez of Odessa; maternal grandmother: Virginia Rios of Odessa; paternal grandfather: Ismael Juarez, Sr. of Pecos; three brothers: Uziah Juarez and Hector Juarez, both of Odessa, and Ismael Juarez III; and one sister: Marissa Juarez of Pampa.
Graveside services will be 9:00 am, Tuesday, August 12, 2015 at Los Angeles Gardens Section of Ector County Cemetery, officiated by Deacon Manuel Luevano. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

JoEllen Dee Crispin, age 77, of Odessa, passed from this life at
Buena Vida Nursing Home on Sunday August 9, 2015. She was born in
Oklahoma City, OK on October 6, 1937 to Charles and Velma (Moody)
Deartherage. She attended Kermit High School.
JoEllen was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was very musically talented and enjoyed playing the organ, piano, accordion and harmonica. You could say music was in her soul. She was also a writer and poet and had numerous poems and songs published throughout her life. Animals were also something she adored. JoEllen had many grandbabies who she called the light of her life.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her sons: Gary and Diana Crispin of Houston, TX, and David and Kathy Crispin of Alamogordo, NM; sister: Norma Horn of Mansfield, TX; and six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Deatherage and Velma Moody; son: Craig Crispin; brother: Clayton Deatherage and grandson-in-law: Nathan Andrew Meadors.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Family Services Funeral Parlor of Kermit, with burial to follow at Kermit Cemetery, officiated by Reverend David Crispin. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
|Jerry Franklin Owen|
Jerry Franklin Owen, age 81, of Gardendale, TX passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Brownwood, TX on November 6, 1933 to the late Charles Littleton Owen and Edith Evelyn (Moore) Owen. Jerry married Patsy Ann Everett in Odessa on August 1, 1954 and they enjoyed over 52 years together until separated by her death in 2007. Jerry was a copy editor and printer in the newspaper publishing business.
Jerry had an awesome work ethic. He was a hard worker whether he was gardening or on the job. A great talker, he would talk anyone’s ear off.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his daughters: Pamela Smith and husband Tracy of Gardendale and Peggy Jane Owen of Temple, TX; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

|Dimas Juarez Carrasco|
Dimas Juarez Carrasco, age 75, of Odessa, passed away from this life at Medical Center Hospital on Thursday, August 13, 2015. He was born in Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua, Mexico on February 2, 1940 to Julio Juarez and Trinidad Carrasco. Dimas married Elfida Aguilar in Ojinaga Mexico on October 15, 1959. Together they raised five children and enjoyed 56 years together.
Dimas was a hard working man. He was a business man his whole life. Dimas loved people and always had a nickname for everyone. He also enjoyed smoking and always had great stories to tell. His favorite song was “El hombre que mas me amo” by Lalo Mora. Dimas enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his life.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his wife: Elfida Aguilar of Ojinaga; two sons: Julio Alfonso Juarez of Odessa and Dimas Juarez Jr. of Midland; three daughters: Martha Juarez of Juarez, Korina Juarez de Ortiz of Ojinaga and Yoly Lara of Odessa; four brothers: Ramiro Juarez of Ojinaga, Edmundo Juarez of Odessa, Alfonso Juarez of Lubbock and Jose (LoLo) Dolores Juarez of Juarez; and one sister: Graciela Juarez de Molina of Ojinaga.

Albert Galindo Belloc, age 59, of Odessa passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico on July 16, 1956 to Raul Belloc and the late Isidra (Olivas) Galindo. Albert worked in oilfield construction. He was Catholic.
Rosary will be recited at Acres West Funeral Chapel Tuesday evening, August 18, 2015 at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Section of Ector County Cemetery. |Robert Luther “Bob” Lester|
Robert Luther “Bob” Lester, age 73, of Odessa went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2015. Bob was born in Richland, VA on July 19, 1942 to the late William Sylvester and June Eldora (Settle) Lester. Bob served his country in the US Air Force in the early 60’s. His career included ten years as an insurance salesman and another ten as a heavy machinery operator for the City of Odessa.
Bob dearly loved his wife, Gladys Lorene (Branton) Lester, whom he married in Odessa on November 26, 1982. After retirement, he made caring for Gladys his priority until separated by her death on April 1, 2015.
A loving man, Bob was honest and dependable. He worked hard and went above and beyond to help others and try to make them happy. He loved fishing, working in his yard, cooking on the grill, and watching a little NASCAR. He was armchair quarterback for the Nebraska College Cornhuskers and loved college football.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons: Carl Chancellor and wife Kim of Odessa, Huey Chancellor and wife Dana of Edna, David Isbell and wife Pam of Ralston, NB, and Larry Isbell and wife Lucy of Tyler; two daughters: Alessandria Hagemeyer of Raymond, NE and Aricka Lester of Lincoln, NE; sisters: Carole, Victoria, Debra, Lynette and Starla June; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two great-grandbabies on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Gladys, his daughter, Linda Isbell, and his only brother, Kenneth.
Graveside services will be privately held at McDade Cemetery, where Bob will be laid to rest with his wife. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
Maria Margaretta “Margie” Nuñez, age 69, of Monahans, died at
Monahans Managed Care Center in Monahans on Saturday, August 15,
2015. She was born in Ft. Davis, TX on April 16, 1946 to Cruz
Fuentes and the late Cinderella (Chacon) Fuentes.
She worked at the Coca Cola plant.
She was Catholic.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her
husband: Robert Nuñez;
and her sister:
Virginia C. Fuentes.
Margie is survived by her father:
Cruz Fuentes of Monahans; two sons:
Michael Lario of Monahans and Cruz Lario of Oklahoma City,
OK; daughters: Alice
Medrano of Kermit and Nanette Hernandez of Wink; twelve
grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great
grandbabies on the way.
Rosary will be recited at Acres West Funeral Chapel at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Monahans. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel of Odessa.

Abel C. Fuentes, age 55, of Odessa, passed from this life at Medical Center Hospital on Sunday, August 16, 2015. He was born in Pecos, TX on May 29, 1960 to Abundio Fuentes and Delia Vasquez. Abel married Olga Gonzales in Pecos on April 28, 1978. Together they raised three daughters and enjoyed 37 years of marriage.
Abel attended Iglesia de Poder y Restauración. He loved listening to the music with his youngest daughter Angela Marie. He enjoyed fishing with his grandson. You could say his grandchildren were his hobby. Abel loved his job as well. He was a truck driver until he became disabled. He faced a long and hard battle but he fought the good fight until the end.

He was preceded in death by his mother Delia Vasquez.
