|Austine La Juan "Tina" Bradley|
Austine La Juan Bradley, of Odessa, passed
away Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at Medical Center Hospital. She
was 67 years old. She was born in McKinney, TX, on September 30,
1947. She grew up in Wichita Falls, TX. She was raised by a
single parent, her mother, due to the fact that her dad was killed
in a train wreck when she was just 3 months old. She attended and
graduated from Wichita Falls High School. Tina met the love
of her life, her high school sweetheart, Billy Bradley. In 1966,
they moved to Odessa, TX to raise their family. In August, they
celebrated 51 years of marriage. She worked for B-Line Filter &
Supply for 32 years, and retired in 2013 .
Her hobbies included scrapbooking, spending time with her family, spoiling her 4 grandchildren, and her 6 great grandchildren. She also enjoyed praising God & singing gospel songs.
Her family would like to thank each & every family member and friend who stood by our side during Mom’s illness. Traci would like to personally thank Lori Brashier, who was our family spokesperson during her month long hospital stay, and for being there for Mom during the day so Shawna & Traci could work. Our dear friend, Betty Clary, took the time every Saturday to come and sing & play the piano for her while she was in the nursing home. Ellen Moody always made sure that Mom’s fingernails & toenails looked nice. Traci’s bosses, Omer Bishop & Gary Bishop at B-Line for understanding when I needed to take time off and be with my Mom. Shawna would like to thank Dr. Atwood for allowing her to reschedule her patients, so she could be with her Mom. Many more people have visited her & prayed for her. Our Dad, Billy, has been by her side during this last year with her declining health, he was always there. He never missed a meal with her, and spent countless hours at the nursing home making sure she was taken care of. He even helped take care of several other residents, who became good friends with Billy & Tina.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Austin & Billie Holman, and her sister, Eloise Holman.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Billy Bradley, of Odessa, 2 daughters, Shawna Foust & husband, Ralph, and Traci Hudson & husband, Lyndel, 4 grandchildren, Billy Foust & wife, Lisa, Logan Foust & wife, Samantha, Amanda Foust, & Brook Hudson & fiancé, Morgan Belknap, 6 great grandchildren, Aly, Liam, Chisum, Lane, Addison, & Sadie. Also surviving her are beloved Nieces, Janis & husband, Bill, Chyrle & husband, Larry.
Pallbearers will be Billy Bradley, Billy Foust, Logan Foust, Bill Taylor, Jimmy Moody, Gary Gardner & Rusty Baker.
Visitation will be on Friday from 6 pm – 8 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel, 8115 W. University. Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2015, at 10:00 am, at Bethel Assembly, 319 E. 42nd. Odessa, TX. Burial will follow at American Heritage Cemetery, located at 4100 N. FM 1788, Midland, TX.

Pedro Contreras Carrillo, age 91, of Odessa, passed from this life at Medical Center Hospital on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. He was born in Tampico, Mexico on April 12, 1926 to the late Zoilo Carrillo and Maria Louisa Contreras.
Pedro was a hard working man with hard working hands. He loved his family very much and only wanted the best for them. He brought all of them here so they could have a better life. Pedro enjoyed music and dancing. He was also a dreamer and nothing could hold him down.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his sons: Louis Carrillo of Corpus Christi; Valente Carrillo, Pedro Carrillo Jr, Ociel Carrillo and David Carrillo, all of Odessa; daughter: Rachel Gonzalez of Odessa; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 1 horse.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Zoilo Carrillo and Maria Louisa Contreras; spouse: Ruth Carrillo and two daughters: Ruth Bustamante and Theresa Carrillo.
Prayer service will be held on Sunday, October
4, 2015, at Acres West Funeral Chapel at 7:00 pm. Funeral services
will be 10:00 am, Monday, October 5, 2015 at Acres West Funeral
Chapel of Odessa, officiated by Pastor Ernest Flores. Burial will
follow at Ector County Cemetery in Peaceful Gardens Section.

|Mildred “Miss Mickey” Kay (Holt) Jones|
Mildred “Miss Mickey” Kay (Holt) Jones, age 62, of Odessa, passed from this life at Methodist Specialty Transplant Hospital on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. She was born in Pecos County, TX on April 18, 1953 to the late Curtis Henry Holt and Joyce Helen Keathley. Mildred married Gary Jones in Odessa on September 29, 1990. They enjoyed 25 years together.
Miss Mickie was a people lover. She enjoyed helping people and always saw the good in everyone. She loved taking care of children and devoted her life to her family. Mickie enjoyed the outdoors as well. She loved fishing and camping. Mickie also liked to play volleyball and the only time Gary ever had a broken bone was when she spiked the ball at him. Needless to say she was loved by all whom she knew.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her husband: Gary Jones of Odessa; mother: Joyce Holt of McCamey; Brad and Amanda Gibson Of Odessa; Jeramy Jones of Del Rio; daughter: Lacee and Robert Ridge of Andrews; sisters: Sonia Martin of Odessa; Marlene Beeson of Jerrell, TX; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father: Curtis Holt and son: Curtis Gibson.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 5, 2015 at Tabernacle Baptist Church of Odessa, officiated by Pastor Mark McDonald. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel of Odessa.
|Ethel L Corzine|
Ethel Lucille Corzine, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ October 1, 2015 at 5:50 am. Although most of her 87 years were spent as an Odessa resident, her final few years were lived in New Braunfels, Texas at Sodalis Memory Care near her son, Dan. Ethel will always be remembered as a wife, mother, mother-in-love, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted friend a constant care giver to all she knew, and deeply-loved. She never met a stranger and was never at a loss for words.
Ethel and Clarence lived many years in Goldsmith where they both worked for Phillips Petroleum Co. In 1959, they owned the Ice dock for a time before she eventually opened Ethel’s Dress Shop around 1961. They moved to West Odessa in 1964 and later moved in town on 36th street.
Ethel was characterized by a servant’s heart and she loved to serve her church, her family and friends, most of whom she simply adopted as her own. Until her memory began to fail her, she had a calendar with every birthday and anniversary of practically everyone she knew and she never failed to send a card. Her language of love was caring for others, which was expressed in many ways such as being a substitute grandma for different children at church or taking care of a neighbor in need.
She was born October 20, 1927 to Edna and Adam Zumwalt. She married Clarence Corzine March 14, 1946 and remained happily married until his death in 2004 after his death she married Harold Covert who also preceded her in death. Ethel is survived by her son Danny and wife Glyndel Corzine of New Braunfels; daughter-in-law Carolyn Corzine of Tyler; her daughter Anita & Ty Miller of Odessa; six grandchildren, Kenny (Kim) Corzine, Darrell (Cheri) Corzine, Christi (Greg) Harrell, Shawn (Shaina) Corzine, Caron Corzine, Josh (Sara) Miller and Randy Miller; and her brother-in-law, Roger Corzine. There are 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter along with many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Her family was the delight of her life and never ceased to bring her joy. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 57 years, her son Tracy, three brothers and one sister.
Family visitation will be 4 to 6 pm Sunday, October 4th at Acres West Funeral Home and a graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, October 5th at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa.

James Patrick Chase, 54, of Odessa, died Friday, October 2, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Midland, TX on March 17, 1961. He was a member of the Assembly of God.
He is survived by his spouse: Benjamin Reed Holiedy of Odessa and two sisters: Donna Woody of Odessa and Rhonda Wendeborn of Joshua, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother: Byrle Jay Chase.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Acres West Funeral Chapel.
|Florence Marie (Pope) Bundick|
Florence Marie (Pope) Bundick, age 82, of Odessa, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland. She was born in Tulare, CA on Monday, December 26, 1932 to the late Walter Leonard and Maggie (Anderson) Pope. Marie met the love of her life, Billy Thomas Bundick, and joined him in marriage on December 26, 1951 in Clovis, NM.
Marie was a magnificent woman; she was the best wife and mom ever. A Proverbs 31 kind of woman, she would do anything for her family. Marie had more than her own kids, she cared for everybody. She loved to dress up and look her best. Marie was a wonderful cook and seamstress. The most important thing in her life, after God, was her family. She had a very strong faith, and was considered a prayer warrior.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her sons: Billy Thomas “Tommy” Bundick, JR. and wife Sissy of Odessa, and Mark Edwin Bundick and wife Kathy of San Angelo; daughters: Janet Marie Gryder and husband Duane of Leander, TX, and Martha Gail Farnsworth and husband Richard of Hunstville; brothers: Walter Ray Pope of Pampa, TX, and Larry Glenn Pope of San Jacinto, CA; sister: Zelma Mae Lowrance of San Angelo; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to Marie’s parents, her brothers: Robert “Bobby” Lee Pope, Roy Dee Pope, Hollis Pope, and John Pope; and sisters: Lettiora Pope, Lila Johnson, and Lucille Dennis preceded her in death.
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, officiated by Reverend Bryan Bundick, Reverend Duane Gryder, and Reverend Jeremy Gryder. Interment will follow at Littlefield Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Gilbert “G.J.” Hernandez Jr., age 30, of Odessa, passed from this life at his residence on Sunday, October 4, 2015. He was born in Ector County, TX on October 21, 1984 to Loraine (Sanchez) Tavarez. Gilbert married Denisse Aguirre in Odessa, TX on October 23, 2008 and they enjoyed 7 years together.
G.J. was a loving, caring and selfless individual. He loved his wife, mama and his sisters. Everyone knew him as G.J. He was the Founder of The Last Kings M.C. He was a good in-law and loved all of his family. G.J. called Hector “Dad” and always wanted to impress him. His nieces and nephews were a big part of his life. He was a big motivator to them and loved them dearly. G.J. was just a big ol’ teddy bear and a protector of all whom he loved.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his wife: Denisse Aguirre of Odessa; mother: Loraine Sanchez Tavarez of Odessa; sisters: Yvette and Eric Pisony of Odessa; Desirea and Hiram Brito of Odessa; his brothers of The Last Kings M.C. and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Francisco and Dominga Sanchez; cousin: Lisa Garcia; aunt: Victoria Sanchez and his dog Jax.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, October 9, 2015 at Latter-Rain Worship Center of Odessa, officiated by Pastor Craig De Armond. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Section of Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Thomas “Tom” Eugene Gill died unexpectedly on October 5, 2015 in Odessa, Texas at the age of 59.
Tom is survived by his parents, T.E. Jr. and Jane Gill of Midland, Texas; children, Stephanie Gill of Verness, Florida, Brandi Lambros of Rangely, Colorado, and Chris Gill of McKinney, Texas.
Tom was born on May 8, 1956 in Sherman, Texas to T.E. Gill Jr. and Jane Gill. He graduated from Rangely High School in Rangely, Colorado. After moving to Odessa, Texas, Tom began working for various oilfield services as a Pumper in the Permian Basin area. Through the years, Tom expressed his love in his own unique way to his children and extended family members. His children remember him as a driven father who possessed a strong work ethic.
Tom enjoyed his time outdoors with his family and friends while pursuing his love for hunting and playing golf. He was a dedicated individual who loved his family and who was passionate about their endeavors in life.
A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2015 at The Barney Greathouse Chapel located at Manor Park, Wallace Circle, Midland, Texas, from 2 PM to 4 PM. As per Tom’s wishes, no services will be scheduled. His wish to be cremated and his ashes spread in Colorado will be honored.

Byron Eugene Alston, age 86, of Odessa, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Sienna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Corsicana, TX on March 5, 1929 to the late Harris Albert and Thelma (Chewning) Alston. He was a plumber and a World War II Veteran of the US Army.
Mr. Alston is survived by three daughters: Linda Alston of Odessa, Evonne Clark of Farmers Branch and Deborah Tisdale of Dudley, MO; three step sons: Robert McCauley of Denton, Billy McCauley of Florida, and Dale Beaird of Spokane, WA; granddaughter: Tricia Armstrong; grandson: Donnie Tisdale; and great-grandson: Ramsey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Starlotte, and his step daughter: Wanda Beaird.
Interment will be at a later date at Dallas-Forth Worth National Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and Crematory.

Harland Ordner Johnson Jr., age 70, of Odessa, passed from this life at his residence on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. He was born in McLennan County, TX on July 25, 1945 to the late Harland O. Johnson and Allah J. Ambrose.
Harland was a strong and opinionated man. He was veteran of both the United States Army and Navy. He was highly involved with the Masonic Lodge and The Knights Templar. You could say he was an uber patriot. He was a gunsmith his entire life and owned his own company called Relic Weaponry and Ammunition. Harland was a rough man and also had a sweet side to him. He would go to The Salvation Army and buy Christmas presents for the children. He was also a pet lover and donated to cat rescues.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his two daughter: Ariel Johnson and Maija Johnson and son-in-law Jonathon Horne all of Odessa; brother: James Ambrose of Houston; step-brother: William G. Ambrose; of Canyon, Tx; sister Helen Slough of Waco and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Harland O. Johnson Sr. and Allah J. Martin; step-father Ernest Ambrose and wife: Nancy Jo Johnson.
Memorial services will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 10, 2015 at The Andy G. Vaughn Masonic Lodge of West Odessa. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Debra Jo Hicks, age 52, of Odessa, passed from this life at her home on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. She was born in Chicago, IL on September 10, 1963. She was a manager for 5 Guys Burgers and Fries.
She is survived by her husband: Charles Don Hicks of Odessa; sons: Jeremy Franklin Hicks and Charles Dusty Gayle Hicks, both of Odessa; daughters: Melissa Jo Hill of Ft. Stockton and Starla Sue Foreman of Odessa; and thirteen grandchildren: Angelina, Jayson Jr., Kirstan, Julianna, Autumn, Samantha, Janice, Landon, Leland, Leo, Amanda, Jaspper, and Calvin.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Greenfield Acres Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Mike Bartlett. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
