Debra Elaine Barnum
Debra Elaine Barnum, age 55, of Odessa, TX passed from this life at Medical Center Hospital on Saturday, July 9, 2016. She was born in Sherman, TX on Friday, September 19, 1960 to David and Theresa (Large) Spriggs.

Debra was a Coast to Coast Truck Driver. She met Barry Barnum at a truck stop in Bluffton, Indiana and they went on to marry on November 27, 2001 in Odessa, TX. She loved animals, riding in the truck and traveling. Debra was a jokester and the best wife anyone could ever ask for. She would give anyone the shirt off of her back. Debra enjoyed playing Bingo, Skipbo, Dominos and scratching lotto tickets which she won $5000 on one time.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her husband: Barry Barnum of Odessa, TX; four sons: James Michael Venable and wife Mandy of Seattle, WA, Johnathan Eric Venable of Roundrock, TX, Jason Barnum and wife Jennifer and Bradley Barnum, all of Marian, IN; daughter: Aimee Barnum of Marian, IN; step-children:  Chaya Turney and Dillard Turney; two brothers: Billy Robinson of Odessa, TX and David Spriggs of Ft. Smith, AR; sister: Sharon Cox of Sherman, TX and 9 grandchildren. She also leaves behind her dear friend and “sister” Julie McKinnis.

She was preceded in death by her parents: David and Theresa Spriggs.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Odessa, TX. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Marsha McDowell Rhodes, age 71, of Odessa, passed away at her home on Sunday, July 10, 2016.  She was born to Robert Augustus Cole and Jean (Tenney) Cole on October 18, 1944 in Grove City, PA.  She was a caregiver.

She is survived by her son:  David Rabold and wife Cindy of Odessa; daughter:  Cassandra Brewer and husband Brandon of Odessa; brother:  Keith Cole of Odessa; three sisters:  Helen Hickey of Murphy, NC and Norine McGill and Roberta Clayton, both of Sandy Lake, PA; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Larry Dominguez Garcia

Larry Dominguez Garcia, age 52, of Odessa passed away at his home on Monday, July 11, 2016.  He was born in Pecos on August 12, 1963 to Cruz (Gomez) Garcia and the late Chon Garcia.  Larry was an independent person who did not like being told what to do.  Because of that, he was self employed and did carpentry work. 

Larry was a righteous man who loved God.  He was of the Catholic faith.  He was a great and awesome grandpa, devoted dad, loving brother and uncle.  He was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and San Antonio Spurs.

Those left to cherish his love and memory are his mother:  Cruz Gomez Garcia of Odessa; two daughters:  Tiffany Lara and Ashley Nicole Ramirez, both of Midland; one brother:  Jimmy Garcia of Odessa; five sisters:  Frances Gaytan, Sandra Garza, Brenda Bernal, and Teresa Garcia, all of Odessa and Margaret Sadler of Midland; five grandchildren:  Christopher Blaze, Azriel Leziah, Johnny Gage, Savannah, Cheyenne and Davina. 

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday evening, July 17, 2016 at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel.  Funeral services will be at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Section of Ector County Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Christopher Marchan, Johnny Muniz, Mike Sadler, Jimmy Garcia, Jr., Omar Muniz, Ray Natividad, Jaime Salinas, and Azriel Garcia.  Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Larry Rene Palmer

Larry Rene Palmer, 71, of Odessa, left this life Monday, July 11, 2016 in Odessa. He was born March 26, 1945 in Colorado City to Bennie Lawrence and Dolores Thelma (Hart) Palmer. 

He grew up in Jal, NM and moved to Odessa in 1963. He worked for 37 years for General Tire & Rubber Plant in Odessa. After retirement, he worked 9 years for BB Chemical. He retired from BB Chemical in January of 2014. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and oldest brother, Jack Edward Palmer. 

Larry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janice Wall Palmer; son, Michael Gregory Palmer; three daughters, Laura Michelle Bailey and husband Paul, Krystina Elizabeth Bowlby, and Tara Nikohl Anderson and husband Chad; brother, Leroy Hart Palmer and wife Jackie Lou Curtright Palmer; six grandchildren, Quentin Zachery Bailey and wife Tara Shay Bailey, Allisha Kyleigh Bailey Gorrell and husband Benjamin Blake Gorrell, Hannah Renee Anderson, Joslyn Krystine Bowlby, Jacob Michael Palmer, and Brandon James Bowlby; and three great grandchildren, Vaughn Allen Bailey, Tyler Zane Bailey, and Nikole Marie Bailey. 

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11 AM at Acres West Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Braswell officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charities. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Linda Lee Moman, age 67, of Odessa, TX passed from this life at Medical Center Hospital on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. She was born in De Soto, Missouri on Tuesday, April 12, 1949 to Claude Evens and Thelma McCullough. Linda married William in Clarksville, TN on April 3, 1976 and they enjoyed 40 years together. She was a Bookkeeper for OCI for 29 years.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her husband: William Moman of Odessa, TX; four sons: Gary and Timothy Moman, both of Oletha, KS, Jacob Moman and wife Tammy of Rosman, NC and Teddy Moman and wife Christie of Belle, MO; three daughters: Patricia Safarik and Paul of Wichita, KS, Nancy Quick and husband John of Owensville, MO and Audrey Hutchings and husband William of Odessa, TX; one brother: James Nappier of Kansas City, KS; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Thelma Evens; daughter: Michelle Moman; three brothers: William, John and Clayton Nappier and sister: Glenda Christian.

Janice Michelle (Dean) Redding

Janice Michelle (Dean) Redding, age 46, of Odessa, Texas passed from this life at her residence on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on September 3, 1969 to Johnny and Odessa (Miller) Dean. She married Terry Redding in Midland, Texas on February 7, 2014.

Janice was the one-of-a-kind, perfect companion to Terry Redding. Any person that became part of her life will forever be impacted by her knowledge, sparkle, and generous heart. Her passion for horses, ranching and organization matched being the sole Office Manager for S.F. Henderson Ranching and all of his brands.

As a loving mother, wife, and friend, Janice's compassion will be felt in all the lives she touched. She is survived by her husband:  Terry Redding of Odessa, Texas; son:  Johnny Meisner of Odessa Texas; daughter:  DeAn Meisner of San Marcos; parents:  Johnny and Odessa Dean of Harker Heights, Texas; two brothers:  Dennis Dean of Corpus Christi, Texas and Christopher Dean of Harker Heights, Texas; and one sister:  Cathy McLean of Oklahoma.

Arvella Mae “Vella” Farris
Arvella Mae “Vella” Farris, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed from this life at her Odessa residence on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the age of 73. She was born in San Angelo, TX on April 7, 1943 to the late John and Maudie (Stewart) Cameron. She married Earl Farris in Odessa in 1988. Arvella was Manager of New Container Distribution for West Texas Drum for 30 years.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her husband: Earl Farris of Odessa; daughter: Donna “D.J.” Rogers Rambo and husband James of Odessa; brother: Johnnie Cameron of Dallas; two sisters: Laura Keith of Desdemona, TX and Betty Brooke of San Antonio; three grandchildren: Brian Wayne Rogers, Stephanie Smitch, and Devon Pickett; four great- grandchildren and one on the way.

Vella was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter: Dena Lee Pyeatt.

 Lloyd Theodore Glenn
Lloyd Theodore Glenn, age 82, of Odessa, TX passed from this life at his residence on Thursday, July 14, 2016. He was born in Neosho, MO to Roy Lee and Nora (Allen) Glenn. He married June Veach on November 1, 1983 and they enjoyed 32 years together. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Lloyd loved hunting, fishing, camping and being outdoors. He was very stubborn and straight forward. He would often say “I'm not Betty Crocker so I'm not gonna sugar coat anything.” Lloyd was a brave and gentle giant but he hated snakes. He was an excellent sharp shooter during his 20 years in the military until he retired in 1971. Lloyd came to know the lord in the late 1980’s and was the best husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather anyone could ever ask for.

Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife: June Glenn of Odessa, TX; daughters: Gayle Glenn of Las Vegas, NV, Angelia Kellee Taylor and husband John of Eufaula, OK, Brenda Argenzio and husband Victor of Sierra Vista, AZ and Marina Glenn of Sierra Vista, AZ; son: Michael Glenn and wife Lynette of Castle Rock, CO; brothers: Jay Glenn of Oregon; sisters: Donna Duval, Carol Sheppard and husband Bud, Linda McGill and husband John, Marilyn Wilkerson; step-children: Kim Carrillo and husband Santos of Odessa, TX, Gary Allen of Pheonix, AZ, Kris Baxter of Austin, TX and Deann Kiser and husband Les of Austin, TX, numerous, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Roy Lee and Nora (Allen) Glenn; brother: Carson Glenn; sister: Susie Glenn and step-daughter: Pam Clarke.

Graveside Memorial with Military Honors will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 9:00 am, Saturday, July 23, 2016, officiated by Vaughny Taylor. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Jessie Leola (Dennis) Fuller

Jessie Leola (Dennis) Fuller, age 80, of Odessa, TX, passed from this life at her residence on Thursday, July 14, 2016. She was born in Crane, TX on February 4, 1936 to Howard and Kittie Thelma (Thorp) Dennis.   She married Wilbert Fuller June 15, 1959, they enjoyed 48 wonderful years together.  They lived for many years in Balmorhea.  Early in their marriage, they had the opportunity to travel, which Jessie truly enjoyed.  Jessie was big into church and her children.  Family, blood relatives and those that were heart-adopted, meant everything to her.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her son:  Bryan Fuller and wife Shelly of Lubbock; Theresa Fuller of Odessa; and her sister:  Mary Ellen Dennis Brown of Odessa; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Howard Dennis and Kittie Thelma Dennis; her husband:  Wilbert Fuller; and her siblings:  Howard Dennis, Jr. and Thelma K. Dennis.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, July 22, 2016, at Zion Ministries officiated by Bro. Dewey Blevins and Josh Blevins.

Interment will be privately held.  Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

David James Driscoll

David James Driscoll, age 57, passed away at his home in Odessa, TX on Thursday, July 14, 2016.  He was born in Austin, TX on August 6, 1958 and lovingly adopted and raised by Barbara Lena (Reagan) Driscoll and the late James Edward Driscoll.  He worked as a clerk and waiter in the restaurant business, but his heart was in his music.  He was in a band and loved playing guitar.

David is survived by his mother:  Barbara Driscoll of El Paso; son:  Patrick Driscoll of Indiana; brothers:  James Driscoll and wife Ann of Austin and Mark Driscoll of El Paso; and sister:  Kathleen Miller.

He was preceded in death by his father and his sister:  Barbara Miller.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
