Carol Diane Hair, age 59, of Gardendale, passed away at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa on Friday, July 15, 2016. She was born in Post, TX on July 31, 1956 to Robert Hair and the late Betty Marion (Osborn) Hair.
Carol is survived by her father: Robert Hair of Post; brothers: Ronnie Hair and wife Connie of Andrews and Kenny and Gary Hair, both of Post; two sisters: Shirley Picard and husband George of Odessa and Linda Kane and husband Ralph of Gardendale.
Memorial services will be privately held.

|Matthew James “Matt” Rice|
Matthew James “Matt” Rice, age 60 of Odessa, TX passed from his life at Medical Center Hospital on Friday, July 15, 2016. He was born in Seminole, TX on February 21, 1956 to Ralph Wayne and Lois (Walker) Rice. He worked as a warehouseman.
Matt was a quiet person and a Boy Scout. Growing up, he loved and admired his grandpa, who was an oilfield worker. Matt would look all over until he found a red rag to put in his back pocket, so he could be like Grandpa. He enjoyed all sports: basketball, baseball, bowling, playing pool and especially football. Matthew also loved animals and has a 19 year old dog named Rocky, that’s been a long-time beloved companion.
Those left to cherish his love and memories are his mother: Lois Rice; two brothers: Ralph Rice of Midland, TX and Wayne Rice of Odessa, TX; and his nephews: Christopher Lee Rice, Jason Rice, and Chris Felts.
He was preceded in death by his father: Ralph Rice.
Visitation will be at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Sunday, July 17th from 1:00 to 9:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Graveside Memorial services will be 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Sonja Hensley Banks, age 61, of Midland, TX went to be with the Lord and family in the early morning hours of July 15, 2016. Sonja was born on March 27, 1955 in Germany. Sonja was a devoted wife, mother, sister, friend, daughter and grandmother. She worked many years as a caregiver for the elderly. Sonja loved spending time with her family.
Sonja is survived by her husband: John Schrock of Midland; two sons: Robert Banks and wife Brandy of Odessa and Eric Schrock of Midland; her mother: Sophia Hensley of San Angelo; sister: Robin Moore and husband Mike of Midland; and a brother: Christopher Hensley of San Angelo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and four grandchildren who are the light of her life, grandson: Manuel Banks, Gavin Banks and Brandon Banks, all of Odessa and her granddaughter: Nivea Schrock of Midland. She also leaves behind countless friends that will truly miss her warm smile and kind heart.
Sonja was and active member of the Redeemer Christian Fellowship Church in Midland. Sonja was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed one.
She is preceded in death by her father: Franklin Hensley, brother: David Hensley; and three sisters: Linda Hensley, Sandra Hensley, and Betty Hensley.

Dorothy Guerra, age 69, of Odessa, passed from this life Friday, July 15, 2016 at her home. She was born Friday, August 30, 1946 in Penitas, Texas to the late Abraham and Juanita (Ochoa) Guerra. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Those left to cherish her love and memories are her daughters: Debbie Forbush and husband Tim of Monahans and Nikki Baker and husband David of Atlanta, GA; sisters: Dolly Guerra of McAllen and Dora Lopez of Henderson, NV; three grandchildren: Jessica, Timothy and Lauren and four great-grandchildren: Kelsea and Ambrea Cooper, Preston Forbush, and Bryson Dillon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother: Abraham Guerra, Jr. and one sister: Diane Ward.

Rodrigo Baeza Rodriguez, Jr. age 42, of Odessa, passed away at his home on July 15, 2016. He was born in Odessa on July 5, 1974 to the late Gloria (Chavez) and Rodrigo Baeza Rodriguez, Sr. He was Catholic.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brother: Rigo Rodriguez and wife Jessica; sister: Dolores Rodriguez; and niece and nephew: Briana Rose Rodriguez and Ezekiel Rodriguez.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Abigail Milagros Rodriguez.

Maria Socorro Vidal-Peledoro, age 88, of Odessa passed away at her
home July 18,2016. She was born and raised in Pando, Canelones
Uruguay on January 27th, 1928 to Mr. and Mrs. Mario Vidal. Maria
retired from her job in a candy factory and fulfilled her wish to
live in the United States with her son. She enjoyed tending to her
garden, sewing, dancing, and accompanying he son fishing. She
especially loved the time spent with her grandchildren.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and her beloved husband Andres Diaz whom she dearly missed.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are: son Luis Alberto Diaz Vidal and wife Christina of Odessa. Three grandchildren: Luis Alberto Reina Cespedes of Sayago, Montevideo Uruguay, Luis Andres Diaz and Linda Andrea Diaz of El Paso,Tx. She also leaves numerous family and friends in Uruguay.

Ezra Munoz, our precious angel was born and went right back to the arms of Jesus on Sunday, July 17, 2016.
He leaves behind his loving parents: Joseph and Arlene Munoz; two brothers: Devin Munoz and Joseph Munoz Jr.; eight sisters: Alizae Munoz, Aubrey Munoz, Brook Munoz, Mila Munoz, Rita Abila, Lola Abila, Evelyn Abila and Alli Lara.

David Dee Ayres, age 63, of Odessa, died at Medical Center Hospital on Sunday, July 17, 2016. He was born on Tuesday, December 23, 1952 in Odessa to Frank Earl “Bud” and Helen Marie (Allen) Ayres.
Dee graduated from Odessa High School in 1971, then served in the US Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant in the First Marine Division Wire Platoon. A former employee of IBM, he was also a student of the Odessa College Petroleum Engineering program, and worked in the Permian Basin industrial sandblasting/painting and drilling industry for over three decades.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his brother, Mike Ayres; and sisters, Molly Floyd and Susan Ayres, all of Odessa.

Maria Estela Ramirez, age 63, of Presidio, passed away at Deerings Nursing Home in Odessa on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. She was born in Santa Elena, Chihuahua, Mexico on September 5, 1952 to Susana (Ibarra) Ramirez and the late Pablo Ramirez.
She is survived by her mother: Susana Ramirez of Presidio; two brothers: Pablo Ramirez and Seferino Ramirez, both of Presidio; sisters: Cruz Caballero of Odessa and Martha Arranda, both of Presidio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be recited starting at 7:00 pm on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church in Presidio. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church, officiated by Father Mike Alcuino. Eddie Hinojos Olivas, age 23, of Odessa, passed away in Odessa on Thursday, July 21, 2016. He was born in Odessa on January 28, 1993 to Fredrico Aguirre Olivas and Jackie Hinojos Olivas. He worked as a pipeliner in the oilfield before going to work with his dad at Champion Auto Glass. He was well known in the Odessa area as a boxer. He was Catholic.
Eddie was a calm, lovable person who would give the shirt off of his back to another. He was very proud of his son and would dress him up with outfits to match his own. He had big dreams for himself and Eddie, Jr.
