Kyle Edward Blevins, Sr. age 72, passed away at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX on January 1, 2017. He was born in Wise, VA on August 3, 1944 to the late Bill E. and Mimia L. (Cox) Blevins. He was a truck driver and a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
His parents and son, Kyle Jr. precede him in death.
Survivors are his brother: Roy Blevins; sisters: Ann Collins and Ruby Stone; and granddaughter, Molline Herd.

James Hayes Barber, age 81, of Big Spring, TX, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa on June 3, 1935 to the late Glen Woodman and Leah Maude (Blackledge) Barber. He was a US Navy Veteran and a long haul truck driver.
Those left to cherish his love and memories are his son: Robert Scott Barber and wife Kathy of Midland, TX; daughters: Linda Renee Martin and husband Gary of Big Spring, TX and Brenda Louise Gordon of Denver, CO; sister: Nancy Jones of Kiowa Lake, TX; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Edna Rhoda Barber; son: Anthony Wayne Barber; and brother: Glen Barber.
Memorial services will be 3:00 pm Friday, January 6, 2017 at 1st Church of the Nazarene in Big Spring, TX, officiated by Pastor Cal and Pastor Bob.

Guadalupe (Almance) Bustamante, age 72, of Odessa, TX passed from this life at her residence on Thursday, January 5, 2017. She was born in Tierras Nuevas, Chihuahua, Mexico on Thursday, July 6, 1944 to the late Gregorio and Marina (Madrid) Almance.
Those left to cherish her love and memories are her son: Manuel Bustamante of Odessa; daughters: Eva Bustamante, Eloisa Hernandez and her husband Leonardo, Belsora Kinney and husband Michael and Monica Bustamante and spouse Jessie Tapp, all of Odessa; sisters: Graciela Rodriguez and Leticia Ramos, both of Hollister CA, Elma Muniz of Hobbs, NM and Zoila Galvan of San Antonio, TX, as well as 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Escolastico Bustamante; brothers: Javier and Ruben Almance; and sisters: Rosalinda and Graciela Almance.

Peyton E. Womack, age 70, of Odessa, TX went to be with the Lord on
Thursday, January 5, 2017. He was born in Denison, TX on May 24,
1946 to the late Peyton Elliot and Ruth (Harding) Womack Sr.
He graduated in 1964 from Blackshear High School and was an active alumni. He also received an Associate’s and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering at Odessa College. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked at Medical Center Hospital in
security for over 13 years and retired. He was a member of the American Legion Post 80. He served as Post Trustee at the VFW 6717.
Peyton loved his family and friends. He found great joy in working at Medical Center. He also enjoyed working on electronics and provided a television repair service. He often shared his fondest memories of his family and vacation trips with them. He married Janis Elaine Baucham in McCamey, TX on June 8, 1974.
Those left to cherish his love and memories are his beloved wife of 42 years: Janis Baucham Womack of McCamey; daughters: Stephanie Womack of McCamey, Ruth Watson and husband Jeremy of Odessa and 2 grandchildren: Nya Womack and Alala Davis, both of McCamey.
Homegoing Celebration will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Mackey Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Odessa Garden II section of Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
David and Elfida Carrasco
David Gomez Carrasco and Elfida Carrasco de Carrasco left this life for eternity together on Thursday, January 5, 2017 as a result of an auto accident in Pecos, TX. They were Odessa, TX residents. David was born in San Carlos, Chihuahua, Mexico on March 15, 1931 to the late Julian and Silvina Carrasco, one of eight children. Elfida was born in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico on December 22, 1932 to the late Herculano and Jesusita Carrasco, one of five daughters.
David was a judge in Mexico. Elfida was a homemaker and together they raised seven children. Their sons are David Arnaldo Carrasco and Rene Carrasco, both of San Carlos, Mexico, Arnulfo Carrasco of Pasadena, TX, Julian Carrasco of San Carlos and Ismael Carrasco, who preceded them in death. Their daughters are Irasema Lujan and Concepcion Carrasco, both of Odessa. They leave behind a legacy of nineteen grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren. They are also survived by David's siblings: Manuel Carrasco of Odessa and Delia Carrasco of San Carlos and Elfida's siblings: Socorro Vasquez of Balmorhea and Guadalupe Ramirez of Odessa.
Five of David's siblings precede them in death: Daniel, Andres, Trini, Marina and Ernestina; and two of Elfida's sisters have already passed away: Maria del Carmen Tenorio and Elida Valdez.
A rosary will be recited in Odessa at Acres West Funeral Chapel Sunday evening, January 8, 2017 at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be at a later date with interment to follow at Pantéon Municipal de Manuel Benavides in Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua, Mexico. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West in Odessa and Funeraria de Valle in Ojinaga, Mexico.

Francisco R. Morales, 66, of Hobbs, NM, passed away in Odessa, TX at Odessa Regional Medical Center on Thursday, January 5, 2017. He was born July 1, 1950 in Artesia. He was in the US Army from 1970-1972 with an infantry rank of E4. He was a musician and loved playing music with his brothers. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Simona Morales; three brothers and one sister: Gregorio Morales, Joe Morales, Nasario Morales and Mary Lou Morales Yanez.
He is survived by his wife: Carmen and children: Frankie Morales and wife Veronica, Serena Morales, Cynthia Morales Bell and husband Will, Crystal Conde, Miranda Morales, Nathaniel Morales, and Emilio Morales; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by five siblings: Alicia Muniz, Rosemary Morales Saenz, Esmeralda Romero, all from Hobbs and Richard Morales and Jesse B. Morales, of Odessa.
At his request, cremation has taken place. Friends and family will gather at 504 W. Ute Street in Hobbs at 1:00 pm Sunday, January 8th, 2017 to honor his memory.

He was born in Abilene, TX on June 3, 1948 to Paul Anderson Lollar, Sr. and Juanita Mae (Day) Lollar. He was a US Marines Veteran and had worked as a designer for Home Depot.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his son: James Lollar and wife Maggie of Odessa; daughter: Brandi Lollar-Patterson of Odessa; brothers: Steve Lollar and wife Kathy of Odessa, Daniel Lollar of Hobbs, NM, Gerry Lollar and wife Cecelia of Mesa, AZ, and Ricky Lollar of Arizona; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His parents and one sister: Jamie Diane Lollar, precede him in death.

Richard Wayne Miller, age 64, of Kermit, TX passed from this life at the VA Medical Center in Big Spring, TX on Monday, January 9, 2017. He was born in Rotan, TX on December 27, 1952. He left high school to enter the military and served in the US Army. He also worked in the oilfield and in more recent years was employed with the City of Kermit.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife: Gail (Derrick) Miller and daughter: Ashley J. Miller; and step-father: John Rollans.
He is survived by his parents: Barbara Rollans of Kermit and his sister: Joan Scott and husband Joe of Roswell, NM; and his nephew: Edward Scott.
Graveside memorial services will be privately held at Clairemont Cemetery in Clairemont, Kent County, Texas.

Daniel Carl Fleming Sr. age 59, of Odessa, TX
passed from this life at University Medical Center in Lubbock, TX
on Sunday, January 8, 2017 after lung injuries sustained from a
house fire. He was born in Hobbs, NM on Monday, December 16, 1957
to the late Daniel Burnett and Ruth Evelyn (Thompson) Fleming. He
had his Masters of Divinity and was an ordained Baptist minister.
On July 26, 1976, Daniel married the love of his life, Debbie Kay Dean, in Andrews, TX. Together, they had 3 sons. Daniel and his family lived in Andrews, where he worked in the oilfield and also operated a computer store with his wife. In 1992, he moved his family to Ozona, where he served as a minister for 14 years at Calvary Baptist Church. He retired from the ministry in 2006 and moved to Odessa. Daniel and his wife lived in Odessa for 10 years. They stuck by each other through thick and thin, sipping coffee in their favorite chairs. Daniel & Debbie were married for 37 years until separated by her death on January 13, 2014.
Daniel was a self-professed Jack of All Trades, ‘Master of None’ and a well-known jokester, who loved to laugh. He loved everyone and always treated everyone equally.
Those left to cherish his love and memories are his sons: Daniel Fleming Jr. and wife Melissa of Ft. Stockton, and Shannon Fleming and wife Shawna of Odessa and William Fleming of Cameron; brother: Leonard Fleming and wife Karen of Fort Stockton; sisters: Geannie Cradoct and husband Rodney (Pops) of Odessa and Patsy Mosley and husband Willie of McCamey; and eleven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Debbie Kay Fleming; and one sister: Barbara Belt.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 13, 2017. Jerry Arredondo Saucedo, age 36, of Odessa went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Jerry came into this world on July 14, 1980 to Rafael P. and Sylvia (Arredondo) Saucedo in Odessa.
Jerry loved the Lord as his Savior. His family was his pride and joy, as well as his Oklahoma Sooners and his Dallas Cowboys.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his parents: Rafael and Sylvia Saucedo of Odessa; brothers: Jesse A. Mendoza, Gabriel A. Mendoza and wife Martina, and Rafael A. Saucedo, Jr. all of Odessa and Sergio Galaviz of Guadalajara, Mexico; sisters: Clara Christina Saucedo of Odessa, Marcela A. Saucedo of Ft. Worth, and Celia Galaviz, Irma Galaviz, and Teresa Galaviz, all of Guadalajara, Mexico; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his wife: Pam Mitchell; mother: Marie Mitchell; daughters: Tonya Williams and husband Chad and T'Lynn Percifull; brother: Terry Mitchell; six grandchildren: Maci Gregory and husband Taylor, Tayler Williams, Mitchell Williams, Trent Mitchell, Hunter Mitchell, and Tawny Miller; and two great-grandchildren: T.J. Mitchell and Natalie Miller.
He was preceded in death by his father: Henry Mitchell and his brother: Cary Mitchell.
