Monique Meadows
Monique Sarah Marie Meadows

Monique Sarah Marie Meadows was born December 15, 1981 in Springfield Missouri. She departed this life and went to her Heavenly home on February 4th, 2017. Monique’s smile lit up every room she entered and her laughter was contagious. She never met a stranger and was the first to see the best in everyone she met. Through any trial and tribulation she would always look for the silver lining, she was the eternal optimist. Monique’s beauty was beyond physical. Her heart was tender and she loved deeply. So deeply that when she said she loved you, you not only heard it but felt it. She loved life……she faced every day with her perfect make up and headed out the door to see what new adventure life had to offer and was excited to do so. Monique was also a gifted and talented musician, she had a voice of an angel and music was her passion. She would text her family a new song she found and loved with such excitement. Monique was the oldest of 5 children, when she was younger she tended to boss her3 little sisters around, but as they grew into young women, she became their greatest friend and confidant. Sharing stories and secrets that only sisters should. She was so proud of her little brother Jacob that she lovingly nicknamed “turtle”. Her care and compassion went beyond her family but also to her friends who always called her MoMo or Mo. Her love for her nieces and nephews, Kirstynn, Natalie, Maddax, Lana, Savannah, Ian and Lyric was evident in the adoration they had for her. She never made them a promise that she did not keep. She loved to be Aunt MoMo! Monique was so much too so many but was always Daddy’s little girl.

Monique’s greatest accomplishment in life was her children, Jillian and Blake. She adored her children and was so proud of them. No success or triumph matched her being their Mother. Her heart beat for them and her beauty, kindness and love lives on in Jillian and Blake.  Their milestones in life were her victories. Her devotion to them was endless.  Jillian and Blake will never doubt her love for them.

Monique was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Maria Hendricks, JG and Carolyn Garrett and her Grandma Ruth, and her Cousin Kyle Drake.

She will be deeply missed and is survived by her children: Jillian and Blake Bowers; parents: Robert Meadows, Dona Meadows and Kirven Hawkins and Roxanne Rylee; her sisters Tandi Coppedge (Billy), Casey Slatosch (Chris), Lindsay Meadows (Kevin Shannon); her brother: Jacob “Turtle” Meadows; her grandfather: Vernon Peterson; her nieces and nephews; her fiancé: Justin Cabanas; many aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as countless friends.

Nicole was told throughout her life the difficulties and limitations she would have, but being Nicole she completed and conquered every goal she had. She brought three beautiful children into this world, her daily tasks that could pose a challenge, she did without complaint and with a smile. She was thankful for the life God had given her and she lived it to the fullest. If you needed the truth and love, she was your girl. She left us a example by how she lived her life of being brave, not to fear, to persevere, and to believe no matter how it seems, to hold tight to the word of God and the promises He has made because they will be kept and stand to be true.

" the Lord your God is in your midst a mighty one who will save he will rejoice over you with gladness he will quiet you by his love he will rejoice over you with loud singing" Zephaniah 3:17
